I'm sorry, am I reading this right? Nearly half the workforce at the office responsible for cleaning up the federal government’s nuclear sites is gone. The Trump Administration offered rounds of buyouts and 312 people walked out the door in a single year from an office that was already hundreds of employees short. These are MISSION CRITICAL positions handling contaminated soil, poisoned groundwater, and radioactive waste across the country. Nuclear engineering positions are now 55 percent vacant. The Department of Energy plans to hire 174 people next year. They lost more than twice that. They gutted the workforce keeping radioactive contamination in check and called it efficiency. The Department of Energy needs to address this. It is unacceptable. gao.gov/products/gao-2…

Abraham Lincoln called the recruitment of Black soldiers a decisive "heaviest blow yet dealt to the rebellion". He publicly credited their bravery, the use of Black troops, and emancipation as the ultimate tipping points that saved the Union and helped mankind advance.

@BigYash_609 black soldiers handed them defeat? You know the Confederates would have easily destroyed you? 🤦🏻

@RepDonBeyer @repdinatitus Are you saying Arlington National Cemetary is sacred ground because it once belonged to Democrat racist Robert E Lee. Go on! Let your true white sheet history out!

Arlington National Cemetery is sacred ground, the resting place for our heroes. Desecrating this hallowed space to build a monument to Trump’s ego is wrong, it would waste taxpayer money, and break the law. I'm introducing a bill with @repdinatitus and others to stop this:

@TheBlackCaucus is calling on corporate America to affirm its commitment to civil rights, voting rights & equal representation. We stand with them. The Callais decision gutted the VRA and has stripped Black voters across the south of real political power. civilrights.org/2026/05/26/lcc…

Then why not let the representatives of NJ voters in to see for themselves?
Secretary Markwayne Mullin@SecMullinDHS

This is nothing more than a political stunt by New Jersey sanctuary politicians for fundraising clicks. There is NO hunger strike at Delaney Hall. There are no subprime conditions.   @SenBooker, @SenatorAndyKim, @RepMenendez@RepNellie@FrankPallone@GovSherrillNJ and dozens of New Jersey sanctuary politicians chose to spend their Memorial Day weekend smearing ICE law enforcement. They should be thanking our law enforcement for removing these murderers, pedophiles, rapists, and drug traffickers from their state. Would these sanctuary politicians like to house these criminals in their homes or have them as neighbors?   We need these sanctuary politicians to stop peddling this garbage and cooperate with us to get these criminals out of their state.

My friend @DougJones has spent his career fighting to do what's right for the people of Alabama. As Governor, he'll build on that progress and make life better for hardworking families across the state. We've got our eyes on November, and we plan on securing a win for Alabamians.

RNC Chair Joe Gruters confirmed Tuesday that the party has deployed staff - poll watchers and election observers - in at least 17 states ahead of the 2026 midterms. He also explained the goal. "We focus on winning. We have a plan. We're executing the plan." Poll watching is a documented and legitimate part of American election administration. But the RNC chair explicitly connected this deployment to maintaining Republican control of Congress after 2026. That language moves the framing from neutral election administration into partisan electoral strategy - with integrity vocabulary applied to the surface. The operation is coordinated with Scott Presler, an anti-voting activist whose organizing has been flagged repeatedly by voting rights groups for targeting heavily Democratic and Black voters. Gruters publicly confirmed Pennsylvania deployment at Presler's direct request on social media. Pull back to the full picture assembled today: FBI interrogating Milwaukee cops about 2020 elections. DOJ Civil Rights Division deployed to surveil Maryland's primary over a vendor error the DOJ's own chief called a mistake. Eight federal judges blocking DOJ requests for private voter registration data. Louisiana v. Callais gutting the 40-year VRA framework. Indiana students losing their campus IDs as valid voter identification. This is not one policy. These are simultaneous pressure points operating across every layer of the election system ahead of a single midterm election. The RNC chair named the objective. The infrastructure matches it.

Republicans want to deploy staff across the country to monitor elections as part of a broader strategy to maintain control of the U.S. House. Voting rights advocates warn that these intimidation campaigns are meant to target minority voters. bit.ly/4dqLmMZ
