Hausa and Fulani splitting their GARRI leaves Yorùbá the Majority ethnic group in Nigeria. We are a fuck!ng big deal in this country and nobody succeeds without us supporting them. Know this and have sense 🤓🤓

PRESS RELEASE REBUTTAL FOR FAROOQ KPEROOGI’S HATE-FILLED AND YORUBAPHOBIC STATEMENT AGAINST THE YORUBA PEOPLE OF KWARA AND KOGI STATE We strongly reject the assertions made in Farooq Kperogi’s article, “Tinubu’s Yoruba Agenda Risks Deep Rupture in Kwara,” which mischaracterise the historical and cultural identity of Yoruba communities in Kwara and Kogi States and present a one-sided narrative that risks distorting public understanding. While Kwara is geographically classified within Nigeria’s “North Central” region, the presence, influence, and identity of the Yoruba people in the state cannot be overstated. This identity is deeply rooted in history, language, and culture, notwithstanding the state’s complex political evolution, including the longstanding influence of the Fulani emirate structure. The Yoruba people of Kwara have historically coexisted peacefully with other ethnic groups in the state. Their aspiration for political leadership should not be misinterpreted as an attempt to create division. On the contrary, promoting cultural preservation, identity, and civic engagement among Yoruba communities in Kwara and Kogi, alongside a legitimate pursuit of political relevance, strengthens unity through mutual respect and inclusion. It is both misleading and irresponsible to frame these legitimate aspirations as a threat. The right of any group to seek fair representation and leadership within a democratic system is fundamental and cannot be dismissed to accommodate selective narratives. Attempts to portray Yoruba identity in Kwara and Kogi as destabilising are not only inaccurate but also divert attention from the real socio-economic and security challenges facing these regions. Ethnic identity must not be weaponised in public discourse to create unnecessary tension, suspicion, or division. Furthermore, claims suggesting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu intends to use the presidency to impose a Yoruba Governor in Kwara and Kogi, or to project himself as any symbolic or historical figure, are entirely unfounded and should be regarded as speculative assertions lacking factual basis. Think Yoruba First organisation calls on commentators and public intellectuals to engage responsibly, rely on verifiable facts, and approach sensitive national issues with balance and intellectual honesty, especially when addressing the complex socio-political dynamics of Kwara and Kogi States. As regards the issue of Kwara state, it was observed that Professor Kperoggi was rewriting the history of the Yoruba race by making genocidal claims that Ilorin, Shao, Jebba, Afon, Elemere, Eiyekorin etc are not Yoruba towns and cities. This is not just evil but highly diabolical. Is it not diabolical that Kperogi sees nothing wrong in the political subjugation of the Yorubas of Kogi by the Ebiras yet he whips ethnic sentiments against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu? Till tomorrow, Kano remains Hausaland despite Fulani rulership, so why is Yoruba speaking towns and cities in Kwara central and North different? Is Kperogi an advocate of genocide of the Yoruba race??? Nigeria’s strength lies in its diversity, mutual respect, and commitment to fairness for all its people—not in narratives that seek to diminish or misrepresent the identity of any group. E-Signed Think Yoruba First organisation worldwide

@AbeebFajobi Truth should not come from me? Is there a lie in my submission? A region where a Muslim child in school is forced to sing Christian songs in assembly, a Muslim child is not allowed to dress according to her religious tenets cannot work in many places wearing her hijab?

The only reason why you hear the vein talk that “Southwest has religious tolerance” myriad of bullshit is because the Muslims are systematically oppressed, and their docile nature is making them not challenge this discrimination even when they have the numbers, the day they say enough is when you’ll actually know what they’re going through. We were born and bred there and we know fr a fact that from the man on the street, their institutions to the civil servants to the political office holders are discriminated. As we speak, in the whole of Southwest you have only one Muslim governor.

@MrOdunfa @oil_shaeikh Oloriburuku ara yin if it were Muslims that dominated, your CAN president would have been moving from one propaganda to the other. Why do a lot of you hate Tinubu sọ much? Was it not because he is a Muslim and those from the other end, because he is a Yoruba man.

Majority of the folks complaining about insecurity in Kwara North and Kwara South are from Kwara Central. Seems like political opportunism to me because they have been complicit in the deliberate underdeveloped of our people by successive administrations. Why the sudden love?

Here are the results of the 2023 election from Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu-Danladi's polling unit in Gwanara. I challenge any other gubernatorial candidate in APC to show us the results from their polling unit in 2023. Here is one of the reasons why they have made Danladi their common enemy. #SYD2027
