Creative win rate tells you everything. If <10%, you're stuck in a volume game, cranking out ads, hoping for a winner. A good win rate (10-20%) means you're not just running a Jpeg factory. Track formats, angles, and creators. Win rate isn't just a metric, it's a map. Follow it to better performance.

Been speaking to this girl that’s starting her own clothing brand. She doesn’t realize she’s speaking to dropshipping royalty. I’m giving her the most basic advice in the world & she’s loving it. “Hey darling, use this link & Shopify is $1/month instead of $40”. Here's my exact team structure at each revenue level: $0-100K: You + VA for customer service ($400/mo) + Video editor - optional ($500/mo) $100K-300K: + Media buyer - optional ($1.5K/mo) + Static designer ($600/mo) + Video editor ($800/mo) + 3D render/graphics ($500/mo) $300K-500K: + Creative strategist - varies on brief volume, can DIY ($3K+/mo) $500K-1M+: + Operations manager ($5K/mo) + Customer service lead ($3K/mo) + Department heads who hire their own teams Total team cost at $1M: $11K-13K/mo (depending on optional roles) Agency cost at $1M: $25K+ minimum The difference: You control everything, they're invested in your success, response time is instant, and you own the assets (acquisition firms will love this) Hiring order matters. Wrong sequence = bottlenecks. Creative team before strategy = random output with no direction Operations after sales spike = fulfillment nightmare CS hire too late = reputation damage from poor support
