@EldritchGodDex @ChrisRGun If the choice is between focusing all resources into the multiplayer aspect (what the game was designed around from the beginning) or splitting resources between multiplayer and a campaign, I'd prefer the former.

@ChrisRGun Actually, this is great - people replay games all the time and sitting through cutscenes that you've seen 20 times already is a major irritation. Or sometimes you just wanna get back to the gameplay and the long cutscenes don't do it for you.

I am a gameplay first kind of player. There are plenty of mediums that offer great narratives and stories but only one that offer that special feeling only interactivity can provide.
Even for ME this is a bit much. The last thing we need is to ACCOMMODATE low attention spans.

One of the features I really liked in Crimson Desert is you can fast forward through dialogue while still being able to understand the context, it's not a jump skip, but a time save

I always see people complaining whenever Microsoft adds new features to Notepad, and frankly I don't get it. 90% of the new stuff added to Notepad over the last few years is good, quality stuff that enhances the app. I use Notepad more now than I ever did before.
