The craziest thing about this, is that this dude could just get a dog and sit outside literally anywhere with the dog and meet more people for basically free

Why is matchmaking expensive? To illustrate, here’s how I’ll lose money on a client’s $49,000 package. Client is 46, 6’2, exited tech founder. He’s looking for a woman 27-33, very specific criteria around match personality, appearance, and profession. Without diving into specifics, she: • Isn’t easily searchable online... • Isn’t likely to reply when we find her… • Isn’t likely to be single… • Often has a deal-breaker trait we can’t screen for without a phone call… • Isn’t necessarily interested in my client… I was expecting this to be a difficult search, so I quoted $49,000. I wasn’t expecting ~100 hours of labor to find each match, not including communication with the client! To date I’ve spent $45,000 on salaries for the women staffed on his search, plus $2,750 on styling and photos, and we still owe the client 2 matches... Before considering overhead (let alone opportunity cost) this will be a huge L financially. Things balance out though. Most engagements are profitable. Some engagements are quite profitable. For example, a new client in NYC paid $30,000 and paused after his first match, because he’s 99% sure we found his wife. That's still a new relationship, and engagements last 9 months (6 months of active matching + up to 3 months of pause), so we could be on the hook for more work in coming months. But you get the point 🙏

The best thing about having your hormones right: Hangovers are back to where they were when you were 20. You can have wine and drinks with friends and dance with your wife to a band without hating yourself for a few days.

When I was younger, I never heard about anybody going to therapy unless they were a war veteran or victim of some horrific crime. And people were saner and better regulated back then. I'm not convinced modern therapy helps most people. The opposite is possible.

Extremely confident this guy has a more interesting life & personality than nearly all of the girls in Blaine’s harem. Oh no he can’t list off a bunch of dumb hobbies! Yeah he’s been busy busting his ass off to get to where he is.

Why real estate is the best: 1. Buy a duplex for ~$220,000 2. Put $22,000 down 3. Rent each unit for $1,250/mo 4. Cash flow ~$750/mo after expenses 5. Do this 7-8 times Own 14-16 units, cash flow ~$4-5k/mo, build $1 million of equity. A "boring" portfolio can make you rich AF🏡

Average gay man looks sooo much better than average cis man, because he does female-level looksmaxxing. Gay tech nerds wear suits not because they're pretentious or wanna show off. They wear suits, cuz it looks BADASS and feels good. The hoodie copers think they're so smart and unique for maxxing functionality. But you sacrifice aesthetics aka AURA just for a tiny convenience gain. It's retarded low value move, man. The math simply doesn't math for hoodies. Looks boosts confidence. Confidence boosts aura. Aura boosts mogging.

This tracks. I went through the whole “omg McDonald’s is poison”. Then you grow up and realize it’s consistent, has decent macros if you don’t order crap, and it tastes amazing. 2 McDoubles and a Diet Coke is an elite meal when you’re on the road.

I love orange country. I spent several days there. It was classy and I felt safe walking around. I got off the plane back in Chicago and I immediately felt like I was in a 3rd world country again. Crack heads were tweaking out in front of the airport. I hate what Chicago has turned into.

@mcuban What’s with the constant judging of people’s “smarts” or IQ on the internet?? Humans keep saying the same limited words over and over. Try to express yourself in a more original way. Parrots aren’t “smart enough”

You are not smart if you don’t run your insurance contracts through Claude or any other LLM and ask for a summary and issues you will face Doesn’t matter if you are the employee or the employer or buying an ACA , Medicare , MA or Medicaid plan. Get that summary and suggestions. Ask it questions and to explains, simply, the things you don’t understand. There are no more excuses

@mcuban I don't know a single person who has read and understands their health insurance policies. THAT is also a problem.

Yes. OnlyFans really isn’t that different from trades like plumbing, HVAC, or electrical. Both sell access to something people need, charge premiums for urgency, handle “dirty work,” and rely on repeat customers. Same model. Just different stigma.

I've said before that ship captains during the age of discovery were some of the most impressive human beings to ever live. We have trouble appreciating just how unimaginably great these men were. They had to play the role of navigator, cartographer, astronomer, logistics manager, military commander, judge, police captain, diplomat, CEO, recruiter, accountant and governor, all at the same time, and all under extreme duress, out in the middle of the ocean, cut off from the rest of the world where the penalty for one wrong decision was the death of everyone on board. These are some of the most brilliant and gifted human beings the world has ever known. Nobody on Earth today can come close to matching them. They had a level of both skill and physical courage that just doesn't exist on the planet today.

Christopher Columbus is the ultimate IQ test. You immediately know that someone is a retarded halfwit if they start screeching some nonsense about how Columbus was a genocidal maniac or whatever. Intelligent students of history understand that he is one of the great men of western civilization. This is an awesome move by the White House.

This woman is having a huge dispute with her neighbor, so bad that she had to have her trespassed. The neighbor is under the idea that she owns part of this woman’s property and even hired a survey service to survey the property lines. But when the surveyor came out, the neighbors personal assistant came with her too as a means to spy and attempt to influence the outcome of this survey. The woman was upset with the surveyor saying the assistant can’t be there and something tells me the assistant knew she wasn’t supposed to be there because she was refusing to give her name. Was the surveyor just being nice to being her along or should the woman report him too for being biased?

First of all, don’t ever say sex work is degrading. My first day at a corporate job and so far I’ve been underpaid, overworked, micromanaged, and made to feel small on DAY ONE at a fucking “respectable” job.
