@joel_krahn @SigmaINFJ5w4 @triiadxx Genuinely curious, what kind of 9-5 job has that kind of unpredictable schedule? To me, 9-5 means exactly that, you are scheduled to work during “business hours” on business days 🤔

@SigmaINFJ5w4 @triiadxx Lots of jobs won't give you that kind of flexibility. Or in some cases, they only give you your schedule a week or two in advance, and by then it's too late to schedule appointments

no one prepared me for the fact that when you have a 9-5 you can't like. go to the dentist or the doctor or anything anymore. because you work. and when you don't work they're closed.

@feederofcats @NonNonLillyBits I ordered some for Mr Lentil ❤️ though it says estimated delivery between August 29 and September 17 and if he’s anything like my cat, he’ll probably hate it and only want a completely different food by then, but hopefully the other babies will enjoy!

We have reached a new level of high maintenance kitten. Thank you so much to everyone who donated toward the oxygen chamber 🥹 Lentil is the luckiest little guy, he can now roll around and play with his toys without almost dying (very important)

@feederofcats I’ve seen these types of cats posted as “barn cats” but there’s one shelter near me who calls them “business cats” like “Business Cat Joe” and “Business Cat Fred” and the first ones I saw there were all tuxedo cats so I assumed “business cat” referred to their coloring 😹

this is Chickpea - she was a feral who got "stuck" on top of a roof and "required" to be saved (I think she just wanted to be captured and get free food). Several months later, she is chonky and still untouchable but too domesticated to live outside. every day she taunts me

@ultracrap I was front row at a concert once but felt bad about blocking people bc I’m 6’1 so I kept letting people go in front of me and by the end of the show I was like ten rows back from my friends in the front 😅

sometimes i think to myself how nice it must be to be 6’5 at a concert but the guilt…..it would ruin me…….

@Riley_Gaines_ You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser. You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports!! @kaitybella @thekuhlest @offbeatorbit In MD real ID was the only option and I was rejected my first attempt to get my license after I moved because the utility bill I brought to prove residency had my old WA billing address for my credit card and they said that didn’t prove residency (even paired w/ my lease🙄)

Right like idg why people are being so condescending about it. Also, frankly the DMV should have just automatically given it to people who are eligible for it if they had to renew their license in the last few years.

NEW: STATter911 video of the two jets yesterday forced to divert their approaches to Reagan National Airport due to a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter circling the Pentagon. The Black Hawk, identified as PAT 23, appeared to be on what has become the new normal pattern for landing at the Pentagon helipad. The newer approach since January’s mid-air collision, puts helicopters closer to the east side of the building. You’ll first see Delta 1671 near Georgetown climb and abandon its approach on Runway 19. After this, PAT 23 did not land at the helipad immediately. Instead, it came around the Pentagon, repeating its previous path. That’s when Republic 5825, between the Memorial Bridge and 14th Street Bridge, began climbing for its go-around.
