I’m pretty sure Disclosure Day is supposed to be a parody, mocking the UFO topic.
The CGI was horrendous and cheap looking. The dialogue was lazy. The story was over-the-top goofy. The action scenes were unrealistic.
What a colossal disappointment. I don’t know who directed this movie but it was not the person who directed Close Encounters of the Third Kind. It’s not even remotely close to that level of production. Worst science fiction movie I’ve seen in some time.

So many people having emotional reactions to about my Spielberg Disclosure Day post?
1) was it really anti Christian? Or anti-God? I didn't think so.
2) was it anti-conspiracy? I didn't think so. The opposite!
3) was it bad sci-fi? No! It was good sci fi.

This 1948 document is a memorandum from the Commandant of the 5th Naval District, and it cites a memorandum related to "flying discs" from the Chief of Naval Operations. @MovieMantz Leaving the theater after seeing DDay left me thinking about how even a great director like Spielberg couldn't replicate the grand majesty of CE3 with this film present day due to a more naive culture in '77 that was left speechless by the final sequence.
