So Billy is still fucked because he's still paying $115 a barrell and uses loads more of it. The 2% figure is neither here nor there for US consumers.

I think Trump would end the war today if the Strait was open. We've already accomplished most of our objectives. The concern they likely have is that if we leave without opening up the Strait, Iran will put in place a permanent toll system. This would result in oil remaining above $100/gal for the long haul while Iran holds the world's energy market hostage. This will not be allowed.

I would highly encourage President Trump to not let the Spanish government’s decision to restrict their air space to the U.S. military go unanswered. Spain clearly doesn’t understand the importance of degrading the largest state sponsor of terrorism that has wreaked havoc on the world since 1979. I will gladly work with anyone to impose sanctions on Spain for this outrage. I would again recommend to President Trump that we close U.S. air bases in Spain and relocate to a country that allows these assets to be used to protect America and the world. The sooner this is done, the better.

And Iran has chanted death to America for 50 years and has terrorist proxies all over the world. Again, its why we are there. Instead of dropping pallets of cash on them like Obama, we are dropping bombs. Hopefully the Iranian people will rise to the occasion and take back their country.

@GOPzilla3 Because Putin is a dictator who wants the old days of the Soviet Union to return. Admittedly it’s more Europes concern than yours but this is Putin a man who is giving Iran intelligence in its war with the US, something Trump is not concerned about for some reason.

Without weapons and funds it would not have been any match, you and I both know that. Then you have Europe buying oil and gas from Russia directly funding the war against Ukraine. What if US would have said not our issue like Europe is doing? If you cannot depends on your allies are they really allies to start with?

Strait of Hormuz = exploding energy prices for Europeans (already +50% gas). US gets 2% from there so no biggie for us. Nuclear + ballistic Iran = direct long-term threat to European security. Weakening Iran's terror network reduces migration & attacks on Europe. Iran finances Hezbollah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Houthis and 10+ more I can easily name, Not all those are in Europe but I am just making a point.

Who is Trump Talking To? TODAY Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei says there are no direct negotiations between Iran and the USA. According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, Iran will "punish aggressors, create deterrence and ensure war won't repeat itself". SO, WHO IS IT? My opinion, Trump is talking to those HE wants to be in charge. He will publicly back those that the USA is in negotiations with (as an interim government), and call for the current Regime to be toppled.
