I don’t understand it. The biggest reason I worked to build up my estate is to provide for my children. I’m not going to stop helping them just because they’re out of the house. Why wait until I’m dead? By the way - my kids are fully independent and don’t need my help. I give to them anyway because I can.

Dad said "we always figured she'd get it eventually." I pulled up a simple chart. Statistically they live to 88. She inherits at 56. Maybe 60. At 60 her own retirement is eight years away. The money that could change everything at 39 arrives when her finish line is already close. Neither of them had ever seen it framed that way. The annual gift exclusion is $19,000 per parent per child. They can move $38,000 a year to her. No gift tax. No estate implications. Over ten years that's $380,000 transferred while they're healthy enough to watch it matter. Dad looked at his wife. "Why are we waiting?" Most families leave everything at death because nobody showed them the math of giving it while they're alive.

@WhitneyGrenaway Hold the plate with arms extended. You don’t need to hold it on your chest. Also, don’t hyper extend at the top. Go to straight only, then back down - Keeps the tension throughout and saves your back in the process. Good work!

First time doing these. I couldn’t figure out how to hold more weight without shifting the movement. 45 pound plate is too big and if I hold 2 25’s it shifts the movement it’s to thick. Anyone have any ideas? 🤷🏻‍♀️

@MustangMan_TX It was awesome. As I recall (I was 13), the whole country was totally into it. Celebrations were everywhere. I don’t remember any naysayers. Kinda worried about this 250th celebration. People are so cynical these days.

@GooseGanderTalk @LisaBritton That’s why we hm’schld a large portion of our kids school careers. It wasn’t a perfect solution but it was so much better than the public school alternative. They are now 3 fully functioning, society contributing 20 yo’s. Any “sacrifices” we made to hm’schl was totally worth it.

@FitAndFortune When my clients ask, “should I lift or do cardio? What about HIIT or yoga?” My answer is yes. Yes. Do it all. Don’t tie yourself to an artificial seven day schedule. Do what’s next and what’s necessary. You have your whole life to get to all of it. Do it all.

Unpopular opinion: Cardio is not optional. Your heart needs training too.

@SharylAttkisson Exactly right. For those of us older enough to remember, the changes are massive. Islamic terror impacts everything, cost the civilized world $ trillions, killed tens of thousands, & altered our communities in profound ways. We now live in fear behind barriers. Enough already.

Let's not forget: While Congress is the proximate cause of the TSA mess right now, the ultimate origin of this expense and inconvenience is the 9-11 Islamic extremist terrorists. It permanently changed so much about how we live and work...for the worse.

@Nithya_Shrii Nothing is ever “equal” across a free population. What is important about that freedom, is the opportunity it enables. I was the poor kid. My kids are the “rich” ones. Their kids will do even better.

Rich kids get capital. Middle class kids get “figure it out.” Poor kids get trauma and told it builds character. The starting line is not equal.
