Tonight, ComEd’s VP of Distribution Operations, Jeremy Smith, shared a message for customers still without power—recognizing the frustration and exhaustion many are feeling. This storm caused some of the most severe damage we’ve seen since the 2020 Derecho. Crews are working through downed trees, blocked roads, and thousands of broken poles that must be rebuilt before power can be safely restored. So far, 97% of customers have been restored, with more than 3,000 crew members working through the night. If you’re still without power, please know: you haven’t been forgotten. Crews are working their way to you and won’t stop until everyone is restored. Thank you for your patience. For updates, visit ComEd.com/OutageTracker.

@ComEd is going to see this rain and prolong restoration by another day in Chicago Ridge…. Coming up on 4 fulls days of bs AI responses, bs ETAs and a bunch of excuses as to why they can’t get the line working. What do we pay these high prices for? Who’s paying the losses?

@ComEd I haven’t seen a night worker or anyone working at night in Chicago Ridge…. Maybe 24/7 in the nicer areas. Not over here though! @ComEd stop the Cap

@CamelFluffy @DHD7742 @ComEd @MahinDaPodcastr 1000% @ComEd is squeezing the lower end neighborhoods hard. They are also playing with the map numbers so the south burbs don’t look as bad. Tell them their 24/7 crews worked 3 hours in my area that’s all. Lost all medication and tanks now depleted

@JDaFreightPlug @DHD7742 @ComEd @MahinDaPodcastr Well idk if you saw but Hinsdale's mayor started bitching on here about them not having power the other day and then they suddenly got power so I think its kind of a "who you know" and who can throw their weight around the most for who got their power restored first

@JDaFreightPlug Different streets or parts of a street may be served by different power lines or transformers. Repairs on one part of a street may not fix problems on another section of a street.

Such a shame to see your neighbors getting power before you. Means work was NOT completely completed before heading to a new area. Meaning @ComEd did a half ass job once again. medication and food has gone bad, and mobile oxygen tanks are depleted you lost hope Thanks ConEd

Just wondering how everyone else in #Chicago is doing with @Xfinity internet? South side/Bronzeville hasn't had internet since pre-storms Thursday. Haven't gotten any updates from @XfinitySupport in the last 24 hours.

@CamelFluffy @DHD7742 @ComEd @MahinDaPodcastr They turned on half my street except my little square and pushed out my estimated time 10 times since Wednesday. I have zero faith in how they are restoring power. 🤷🏻‍♂️incompetent

So today went from 130PM eta, to 6PM, to 10PM, to 0130AM 6/14 @ComEd why not just be honest and say the crew is not coming today? Such a shame, so much food and medication wasted because y’all can’t give people proper timelines

@ComEd pulled a fast one. Responded to my DM, updated my status, now after a little bit of me not blowing them up, they changed it back . Sneaky sneaky comed.. Not cool when someone has a child and medical equipment they need running.

Not a crew insight. Not even a scheduled crew to be appointed. But I see crews sitting around gas stations and parking lots in my area… 3rd party though. Not @ComEd

Looking at the @ComEd outage map, it looks like someone needs to remind ComEd that south of I-55 exists. It's been three days without power. Seemingly the only person working is the one who keeps pushing back the estimated time of restoration.
