@47People It was mainly to save Draco’s soul from the damage of committing murder. Dumbledore also intended the Elder Wand pass on to Snape as the rightful master but Draco’s disarm of Dumbledore ruined that plan much to Harry’s benefit.

Snape ended Dumbledore for 3 reasons; to secure his double agent role with Voldemort, to save draco from being k!lled by Voldemort because he wasn't going to k!ll Dumbledore and also Dumbledore was suffering and dy!ng slowly from the cursed ring. Snape is probably the most important character in the whole story.

Okay lol. It has nothing to do with politics or racism, it’s as simple as if something is true to source material or not. You can try to deny those facts all you want, but Snape is clearly and specifically described in the books, and it’s not black. Some seem to care more about the source material more than others, while some like yourself seem to not care at all, and thats fine. You’re more for an adaptation rather than a book accurate depiction, that’s also fine. It’s not your story, it’s everyone’s story.

I think people are confusing criticism with cancellation There’s no reality where this show doesn’t have huge viewership so saying it’s going to fail is just flat out wrong However, people in mass are still criticizing the needless race swap and rightfully so The two are not mutually exclusive

@Woman4W Whoever is in charge of the studio and casting. I don’t think the majority of outrage is directed towards the actor, I’m sure some is, but most of us are disgusted with the casting choice. Would rather see him cast as Kingsley than Snape.
