@SweetWaterDairy @DevaCowlover @pmarca Innovation Center (including 10-year MOU with World Wildlife Fund) and Global Dairy Platform are 501c6’s created by National dairy checkoff (DMI) at same address, to bring processors in for pre-competitive collaboration or coordination. So, farmers paid for it, and here we are.

@pmarca This is textbook coordinated market coercion — exactly the kind of network behavior you’re calling out. Wisconsin dairy farmer Abby Swan (@DevaCowlover) just got the letter: her processor is “updating their sustainable agriculture policy” under the U.S. Dairy Net Zero Initiative and the National Milk Producers Federation’s FARM ES module. They demand a full year of her private farm data — herd size, feed/nutrition/ration details, manure management, plus every therm of natural gas, every gallon of diesel/propane/biodiesel, and every kWh of electricity — or the milk truck stops coming. “Voluntary,” they say… while making it impossible to sell milk without complying. youtube.com facebook.com Here’s the collusion part: the dairy processors didn’t each come up with this independently. They came together through the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF), IDFA, and groups like the Global Dairy Platform to construct and enforce this exact ESG framework. They aggregate small-farm data to help giant corporate buyers hit their own net-zero/ESG scores. Same “voluntary” pressure applied industry-wide. Comply or die. instagram.com This isn’t government regulation — it’s private industry cartel behavior using ESG reporting as the weapon. Farmers get debanked from their own market for refusing to hand over proprietary operational data that competitors (and regulators) could use against them. If one processor’s enforcement is illegal restraint of trade, the coordinated network that built the framework and synchronized the demands smells like textbook conspiracy — and ripe for antitrust or even RICO scrutiny. Donors, trade associations, and the big buyers pulling the strings included. Farmers like Abby and me (@SweetWaterDairy) are living this right now. Time to shine the same light on this ESG enforcement racket that you’re shining on the censorship/debanking machine. Please help spread awareness…

Do the various censorship/debanking pressure groups, SPLC and others, coordinate their work? If one of them is breaking the law, are they all breaking the law together? Are there grounds for criminal conspiracy charges? RICO charges? Including complicit donors?

@BasedMikeLee in favor of the bill, but what about married women in blue states where the Real ID driver's license does not get marked as citizen though we proved it? Some of us went through a major paperwork trail for Real ID, do we bring it all to polls where everyone knows us already?

@SecKennedy @DrOzCMS Start with a regulatory roll-back in school meals please to break the "USDA compliance guarantee" hold the CPG companies have and pave the way for money spent on regulatory compliance to go to better food and on-site prep

At HHS, we reject the idea that our health system is too broken to fix. Today, @DrOzCMS and I are announcing a new Healthcare Advisory Committee—top experts from across the country coming together to provide insight on how to cut costs, reduce red tape, and put patients first. Real reform starts now.

Fix the whole milk guidance to include breakfast per statute! School Breakfast and summer feeding standards are to follow the school lunch standards — makes no sense to write guidance for schools that allow whole milk for lunch but not breakfast. Common sense, please! Major deterrent for farmers working with their hometown schools.

🚨 BREAKING — FLORIDA MAHA WIN IN COURT: The 11th circuit has just UPHELD the state’s ban on lab-grown meat, defeating a Gavin Newsom’s California-based company HUGE victory! In Florida, you have to sell the REAL stuff ☀️ Vindication for Wilton Simpson, the Agriculture Commissioner who spearheaded this bill all the way to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ desk: “Another win for Real Food - another loss for Frankenmeat. Today’s ruling to uphold Florida’s ban on lab-grown ‘meat’ is a huge win for the state and for our consumers.” “Lab-grown ‘meat’ is not proven to be safe enough for consumers, and it is being pushed by a liberal agenda to shut down farms. Food security is a matter of national security.” “As Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture, I will fight every day to protect a safe, affordable, and abundant food supply.” @WiltonSimpson

Farmers are speaking up. New survey from the American Dairy Coalition shows: • 77% say GHG data collection isn’t truly voluntary • 80% don’t trust how their data is handled • 92% receive no compensation 100% say they should control their own data.

CALL TO ACTION: Dairy farmers are urged to submit comments ASAP, asking USDA to extend the request for input by 60 days! USDA gave no true notice other than putting it in the Federal Register on 2/27/26. Comments close 3/30/26. These surveys will impact future "make allowances" (aka processor credits that already total $4.50 to $5.10 per hundredweight collectively) ***Read more here: conta.cc/47xI6xp

Yesterday was fun! Dawkins didn’t wrestle of course, but he was proud to wear Dad’s medal. MAWA medals to regionals for all. This is the first time Ryan wrestled MAWA since he was in his 30s in 2019 when he was champion section and regional and runner-up in super tight match at Eastern Nationals. Giving it a go again in open competition at 41. Champion yesterday at first level. Had mom here worked up. Connor and Mason also prevailed along with their friends and teammates doing the off-season. #gottalovewrestling

@GrantGayman Did you ever think our cheese/butter commodity clearing prices would be 30 to 50% below global index 20 months? Historic spread. Cheese is the new powder. Said it 8 mos ago. Whey used to be byproduct now it is cheese. That was my observation at start of plant investment ramp up.

Dairy markets are crazier than the weather this week! New paradigm? First time in history CME spot nonfat dry milk price ($1.8450/lb) ABOVE butter ($1.7925/lb) — flipping the value relationship between skim and fat. Plus, NFDM has traded above 40-lb cheddar blocks ($1.6475/lb today) for at least the past 6 weeks, now by 20 cents. That’s significant, cheddar drives protein value in milk check, while NFDM represents solids-not-fat. Federal pricing formulas aren’t designed to translate the flipped script very well. Hard to believe I've been doing the Milk Market Moos column in Farmshine 25 years & weekly for 20 years. TIME FLIES (p.s. More proof that vendors charging schools 8 to 13 cents per half-pint extra for whole milk (3.25% fat) vs. 1% or fat free are price-gouging kids; should be a penny or two at most).

Straight 3 day old Holstein bulls are bringing crazy money in PA. JBS is buying both straight and cross then contract feeding. They are fans of Holstein fed right. Years ago, they offer contracts to follow their protocol and feed from 300 pounds no stocker phase or backgrounding on grass. This week There’s only about a $250 difference per 100 lb liveweight right now between straight Holsteins and Dairy x beef bull calves. The average at our markets for straight Holstein this week was $1550 vs cross $1785 per 100 lb liveweight.

Beef-on-dairy calves are worth so much, that instead of keeping back a heifer and breeding for quality retention, we are breeding for immediate dispersal of a beef calf. Therefore, milk cow numbers are high, not due to wanting to produce a greater volume of milk, but to squeeze out another year or two of calf production out of a cow that would have previously been culled prior to the cattle value rally. dairyherd.com/news/high-milk…

Last year, Cornell University and consumer-insights group Numerator concluded US households with at least one GLP-1 user reduce their grocery spending by approximately 6% within six months of starting the medication, with higher-income households cutting expenditure by nearly 9%. The study concluded the largest spending reductions were in “ultra-processed categories”, which includes chips/crisps, baked goods and cookies, where expenditure fell on average between 6.7% and 11.1%. By contrast, spending on nutrient-dense options such as yoghurt and fresh produce increased. As a consequence, dairy product manufacturers and their customers are reviewing their ranges and promoting existing low-calorie, high-protein products (or launching new items) targeted at users of the medication. This is an opportunity within mature dairy product markets such as North America and western Europe, where GLP-1 usage is growing, has made the furthest inroads and where demand for dairy has been flat (at best) for many years. just-food.com/features/glp-1…
