@qatarairways Not only Doha or Middle East..there are thousands of people waiting in different countries, what should we do? Hotel expenses, meals, etc is on us and the only option you give is “look for an alternative”

@qatarairways We are two very elderly couples who have serious health issues and are stranded in Durban. Ours was one of the first flights to be cancelled. We understand the situation but are concerned that we have had no contact with Qatar, no one will give us any information or answer phones

All scheduled Emirates flights to and from Dubai remain suspended until 2359hrs UAE time on 4 March, due to airspace closures across the region. @EmiratesSupport Our flight leaves 2 hours after your closure window of midnight the 4th we are in Thailand Flight number ek0377 and ek0017 We are due to fly to Dubai from Bangkok then to Manchester from Dubai Still says scheduled on the app but we cannot get through to emirates at all

Landed in Muscat, Oman. Many friend who asked to share details for going to Dubai/Abudhabi/Sharjah from India: this is one sector which is working fine, being at a comfortable distance from the ground zero of conflict. You can fly in by Oman Air and I also saw two Air India Express aircrafts after landing, which means multiple carriers have started taking this route. And surprisingly the ticket are not through the roof at the moment, which means the airlines are not miliking the crisis (so far) which they are generally accused to do. If you are UAE resident or have valid US visa, then you just don't need to apply for Omani visa in advance. The immigration process at Muscat is a breeze. For everyone else, I am told you can apply for e-visa at least a day in advance. From Muscat airport to Dubai downtown, it roughly a 6 hours drive, for which you can either book a cab or rent a car to drive yourself. I am sharing a cab with four new friends who were sailing in the same boat. A friend in Muscat had suggested @Budget +96899229515 and then were really prompt and helpful. We just started from Muscat and hopefully will be home by dinner time. And btw: the traffic is bumper to number on the highway so far, which means this route is being used and trusted by almost everyone. Will post the land border experience once I am there and through it.

@AmericanAir keeps cancelling my flight so now I’ll be on day 2 trapped in Dallas bc they can manage a 1 hr flight to Oklahoma and they have not offered any accommodations I can’t afford to keep paying out of pocket and my travel insurance for this trip is now expired. @AmericanAir Please forgive our frustration, we have had multiple cancellations filled by countless delays. On Sunday an employee told us it was because a lack of flight crew. That’s poor planning. Now today the crew member was late to the boarding. Once the plan was loaded it can’t move

According to AI it takes 20-25 people to pull a 737 and @AmericanAir can’t figure out how to do it with equipment on a little bit of ice

I've had flights delayed or canceled for a lot of reasons, but this is a new one. Was just about to head to the airport for our flight to St. Maarten when we found out the flight was canceled due to military action in the Caribbean Great timing, Donald. Just spectacular.
