I am so tired of ringing up my own purchases. @Lowes, you need actual cashiers, not people standing around making sure customers ring everything up. I bought some adhesive today, and the register wouldn't continue until the supervisor typed in a bunch of overrides. How is this any different than her ringing up the purchase herself? There is no one in any department to assist with finding anything, and I find myself buying items on my Amazon app WHILE SHOPPING IN YOUR STORE because I cannot find anyone to help me. Do you want me to show up in the morning to unload the trucks and stock the shelves, too?

One of the most historical events ever charging $8.00 for beer and a chicken sandwich at most when a team 45 games under .500 charging you $54. Make it make sense. I am an Alabama resident. The state of Alabama has a higher GDP per capita than Canada; $66,300 vs. $58,000. We also have lower taxes. As such, Alabamians have more disposable income than Canadians. We can afford nice houses for a fraction of the cost that they would cost in Canada. The median home price in Alabama is around $220,000. In Canada, the median is about $650,000. In Alabama, that could get you a very nice 4,000 square-foot house. A lot of successful people live here. Huntsville, for instance, is home to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and a university. They have among the highest number of Ph.D.'s per capita as a result of that. Has Canada sent man to the moon? I'm asking for a friend. There's also Auburn University and the University of Alabama down in Tuscaloosa. They are both very good schools for a college education. Alabama has more daylight hours and better weather, on average. We get more Vitamin D because we can spend more time outdoors. Alabama also doesn't have a carbon tax because our governor doesn't believe in the fairytale that trace carbon dioxide (CO₂) controls the weather. Where Canada arguably has an advantage is in social safety (e.g., violent crime rates) and health (e.g. life expectancy), but it comes at the expense of taxpayers, which reduces individual freedom. Here in the states, you need to work to bring yourself up, and if you do that and put the work in, you have better material living.

Start with the psychological, the amount of stress you are put through in the military is so tremendous! You are separated from your family for who knows how long because the mission changes on the fly, you get paid very little for the sacrifice you put your family through, then all the hazards that you face, combat, chemical not necessarily during combat, all the physical training that you have to go through simulating combat conditions, stressing your body and your mind, if you were a paratrooper I guarantee back and joint issues for the rest of your life, if you are special operations that is a bunch of other issues that you will bare for the rest of your life and that is to be combat ready. Maybe you didn't go to combat, but you trained for combat and you always train has you fight. All this is without going to "real" combat. When you go to combat, add all the shit you went through to get ready plus all the hurt, pain, conditions that you will develop during and after combat. So if you are going to dare to talk shit about our veterans collecting disability for voluntarily going through all this shit for your liberal, snowflake ass to complain about our service you better have been in the military and all it takes to have an opinion on how we should be compensated for your freedom.
