There are many ways to gain experience outside of a company. It sucks that many new to the industry do not have the opportunity others had in the past.
I can't change that, companies are going to absolutely take advantage of that. Can be an ostrich, find another industry or be creative. Look at others like Revamp are doing at the University of Illinois to see creative ways to gain experience outside of traditional ways.

6 years of living in Texas and I've come to the conclusion that the no state income tax thing is basically a scam. The property taxes are so high that they negate any savings. We are still paying as many taxes in Texas as we would in California. You save on gas I guess.

Remember when we had to fight for Postal/UPS workers to even recieve AC in their trucks due to them passing out of heat stroke, we still are I think actually. Imagine these tractors in even more sun.
