We are the wealthiest nation in the history of the world. And the Republicans are about to let 22 MILLION Americans lose their health insurance. The least we can do is extend the ACA tax credits for the next year and provide some relief.

This plan is plain and simple: reopen the government, and extend the ACA tax credits as-is for 1 year so families don't have to suffer while we work to negotiate long-term fixes.   We have the chance to make a real impact— I hope my Republican colleagues will join us.

@allenanalysis the CO law that they passed to ty to make it illegal is invalid. Ever hear of "the Supremacy Clause" of the US Constitution? Yeah, it's real and it says Federal law takes precedence if there is a conflict. The CO law is in conflict of Federal law.
