if you already knew about this, good for you. it’s my first time finding out the hard way. my flight ticket from bangkok to samui just got suspended because i booked through a third-party platform (@agoda ) huge thanks to the bangkok airways staff for actually spending time trying to clarify what happened. logically, something went sideways behind the scenes in how these third-party operators secure "special discounted prices" (like thb 1,000 cheaper in this case) the system update from qatar last night flagged a list of passenger tickets as "suspended due to redemption issues." the common denominator? we all booked through agoda. here’s the breakdown of what seems to be happening: there appears to be a massive glitch or unauthorized use of mileage point redemptions to secure these "discounted" tickets for third-party buyers. because the names on the original points accounts don't match the actual passenger names, the operating airlines are flagging and freezing them. according to the supervisors at bangkok airways, this has been happening way too often lately. their usual "fix"? tell the stranded passenger to just buy a brand-new ticket on the spot because they’re in a rush. absolutely not. it should not be standard practice to force passengers to buy double tickets and wait 30+ days for a refund for a mistake they didn't commit. i refused to accept that. after an hour on the phone with customer service, i got the standard runaround. first, "everything is fine." then, after dealing with a total wall of a customer service rep, i got the predictable: "just buy a new ticket and request a refund later." way too easy for them. i channeled my inner mewtwo, dug my heels in, and refused to back down because this is zero percent my fault. they need to do better than "just pay us again." when i pushed for solutions and asked for a guarantee that i’d actually be reimbursed for the extra costs, the rep completely choked. even the bangkok airways supervisor mentioned they couldn't guarantee i'd be allowed to fly since the system still shows "suspended." i’m taking a break to get some food and refuel, but i am absolutely fighting back on this unreliable and problematic ticketing practices should not be normalized as a way of doing business. this causes way bigger issues for travelers than these platforms think. if you’ve ever experienced your ticket getting randomly suspended or flagged after booking through a third party, drop your experience below or dm me. let's figure out how widespread this is

@Agoda Extremely disappointed with my stay at Chalet Seabuckthorn. The room had cobwebs on the ceiling, stained bedsheets, stained furniture, insects inside the room, and even the drinking water provided appeared dirty and unsafe for consumption.

Booked my stay at Radisson Blu Marina, Connaught Place, New Delhi via @ixigo, but the hotel claims they received it through @Agoda and refuses to issue a GST invoice. Already confirmed via IVR that the hotel was supposed to provide it, but they’re being completely uncooperative and not responding. Still at the property with a flight to catch and no resolution yet. Need a quick closure on this. @radissonhotels. Never booking through ixigo or Agoda again. Bad experience at Radisson property. @ixigo @agoda @RadissonHotels
