Hey @S_Fitzpatrick I was Kash Patel’s Sherpa on the transition. I spent nearly all day everyday with him for 3+ months and have been with him frequently since. I have never seen the type of behavior that you’re describing from him. Your anon sourced story is BS. Oh and by the way, it was no pressure campaign that got Kash confirmed. He did his homework, studied every brief I wrote him (and I wrote them all personally). If I sent him material at say 2am, he would respond with questions by 3am. He was always available and never hard to reach. Ultimately, he addressed any concerns senators had. He studied the law enforcement issues in each of their states and came prepared with plans, ideas, and questions for addressing the unique law enforcement needs of each state. THAT is who Kash Patel is and it’s why the FBI has been so effective in the last year. I’ve never once seen him over drink. Not once. You are spinning that narrative because you know POTUS doesn’t view that favorably, even admitted as much in your story. And I’m not hard to find. Pretty obvious why you didn’t reach out to me for comment.

The letter notes that while Kushner is reportedly serving as Trump’s “Special Envoy for Peace” in Middle East negotiations, he is simultaneously soliciting billions of dollars from the same Gulf monarchies for his private equity firm. This is textbook Trump-world grift: using official government positions to line your own pockets while pretending to work for the American people. Kushner already pocketed $2 billion from the Saudis right after leaving the White House the first time. Now he’s back in a quasi-official role, brokering “peace” deals with the very same countries he’s hitting up for cash. This is Democrats using their oversight powers to highlight Kushner’s blatant conflict of interest (serving as Trump’s Middle East envoy while raising billions from the same Gulf countries for his private equity firm). MAGA Committee Jim Jordan can’t stop the query, though he will no doubt to his level best to moving any recommendations ranking Democrat Robert Garcia and company may make. This isn’t diplomacy. Kushner has zero qualifications as a diplomat and is already amassing a record of failure as such. This is pure gold-digging nepotism – giving Vanky’s husband the keys to the safe that holds all the Gulf states’ billions in oil money. If you agree that Kushner as a diplomat is one of Trump’s most egregious family grifts of all (and that’s saying something!), please like and share.
