@JimmyTraina As long as we're micromanaging game broadcasts using multiple announcers, there should also be a "calm" setting for less chatter, less hype, and fewer features, one that lets the broadcast breathe. Like Ralph Kiner calling a Sunday afternoon #Mets game in 1971.

I’m gonna predict now that NBC hires a full time MLB analyst next season. The experiment of using one analyst from each team is not helping or enhancing the broadcast at all.

Completely agree with @DimTillard that @MLB teams need to feature ballpark organists during day games. The @Brewers 7th inning stretch with the wimpy, prerecorded accordion version of Take Me Out to the Ballgame just ain't cutting it.

Staying at the WestCord hotel in Eindhoven Last night I asked them to warm my room. They said they'd send two radiators. They never arrived. At breakfast I asked again. they said they'd send them. They never arrived. I asked at lunchtime. They said they'd send them. I'm waiting

It’s the day we all hoped would never come. Bob Uecker, the voice of the Brewers for the last 54 years and “Mr. Baseball” to fans around the world, passed away overnight, according to his family and the team. He was 90. Summers in Wisconsin will never be the same.

The Brewers, with their Cy Young winner (Corbin Burnes) gone, their manager (Craig Counsell) gone, their top 2 veteran starters (Brandon Woodruff and Wade Miley) out for the year, their All-Star closer (Devin Williams) still out, and their All-Star OF (Christian Yelich) out indefinitely, keep on rolling, 3-2, over the Cubs. They have a 6-game lead in the NL Central, and 11 games over their bitter rivals, Chicago Cubs. Take a bow, Pat Murphy, who should be the unanimous NL manager of the Year.
