For nearly a decade, Cardano has been one of the largest, most reliable, and secure blockchains, with zero downtime since its launch in 2017. Cardano runs on eUTXO, an extension of Bitcoin’s UTXO accounting model, with native programmability. Transactions execute in parallel. Multiple assets settle in a single transaction. Fees are known before you submit. Smart contract outcomes are deterministic at the protocol level. There are no failed transactions that eat fees. What you model is what executes. Cardano also handles tokens differently. Native Assets inherit the same properties as ADA itself, secured directly at the ledger level. No ERC-20 style smart contracts sit between users and their tokens. Given these architectural differences from EVM chains, a major limitation has always been connectivity: Cardano didn’t speak the same language as the rest of crypto.

Its a complete SHAME that Cardano never got the run it deserved 💯 Yes there were a lot of mistakes and things that should have been done differently, but at the same time... I have never seen such a supportive community when it really comes down to it. So many selfless builders that genuinely believed in the vision and took huge monetary sacrifices to try and build it on Cardano. Over the 5 years I have seen hundreds of fellow builders (a lot with the right intentions too) run out of funds and be forced to throw in the towel. Unfortunately, there are a lot more white flags coming and this is the byproduct of failing to get real PMF and attract new people to the chain. I am seeing a lot of the core issues finally getting addressed/worked on, but in a pessimistic view it came a little too late as we are now dealing with a system wide issue (people in general have been burned, dont like crypto, dont trust crypto, and will never touch it again).

@davidgokhshtein @vibhu I'm not putting money in bitcoin just because there's less crypto projects in the world. The money going into whatever project was destined for that project. If those investors wanted bitcoin, they'd buy bitcoin.

The difference is the internet doesn’t run on shared liquidity. Websites compete for attention. Crypto tokens compete for the same pool of capital. When millions of tokens exist and new ones launch constantly, liquidity fragments and incentives shift from holding builders to chasing the next trade. And here’s the bigger problem most people ignore. Why would serious capital, VCs or large investors deploy into a market where attention lasts 24 minutes? We’ve literally seen Fortune 500 companies tweet about things like Distorted and the entire run dies in 24 hours. A cycle or two ago, that level of attention could push something to a $50B market cap. Today it barely survives a day. That’s not a healthy market structure.
