To fear God is to stand in awe of His infinite majesty and glorious brilliance in humility. Not in terror that paralyzes but in reverence that energizes. Once you fear God, you will love Him.

@geezindigenous @SubDeaconDaniel Your church is a fraudulent institution dude get over it. Fake “saints”, fake miracles, fake history, nostalgiamaxxing for a dead empire. You literally left OO for political reasons, you’re just as bad as the original Chalcedonians. What answer will you even give on judgment day?

@SubDeaconDaniel A YouTuber EO priest set this condition to determine if any denomination is true. Paisios was a virtuous, humble monk to whom miracles are attributed.

“St Jerome says Stephen was right and Cyprian was wrong, why do you think he didn’t regard Stephen’s sainthood?” St Jerome says that “blessed Cyprian” applied the lash to Stephen’s (no saintly honorifics) “errors, which had become inveterate by usage.” Apparently in your world St Jerome believed that every day is Opposite Day: “But if anyone thinks it open to question whether heretics were always welcomed by our ancestors, let him read the letters of the blessed Cyprian in which he applies the lash to Stephen, bishop of Rome, and his errors which had grown inveterate by usage.” St. Jerome, Dialogue Against the Luciferians, 27

@dioscoros_ @33_34Guy @UntoldFortune @cyrilmatthai @SatisCognitum @alqdys13839 @hypatiusbrontes Do you get off on lying or do you not have the slightest clue what you're talking about, Tell me, why do Jerome and Augustine both say the whole world followed Stephen and that he was right but supposedly do not regard his sainthood? Cyprian was laughably wrong 🤣

@sherifhanna @Craig_Truglia Me neither, you're just a douche, but go on your personal crusade. The people I personally know who told me they saw candles lighting up on their own is "hearsay", but what a bald heretic guy from Egypt is saying is the truth. Ok.

Comments about the Holy Fire: Look up videos of people whose hair ignites near instantly from a single candle. Yet, there are videos of holy fire where this does not occur after prolonged exposure to multiple candles at once. What's the natural explanation?

Thank you @SatisCognitum, dear brother. I don’t disagree with my Coptic brothers here. What would make anything valid is the economia extended by the One True Church (Antioch, Alexandria, Abyssinia, and Armenia) upon entry into her by the believer. What the real problem is, however, is holding to orthodox Christology while remaining in communion with those who condemned and deposed the orthodox fathers and their writings, and wrote contrary to them. Outside of the Church there is no salvation. If you are a miaphysite, come home, we are waiting for you

THE NON-CHALCEDONIANS … Copts, Syrians, Did they maintain even the external and canonical order of consecration / ordination? In this historical review Craig Patrick Truglia shows that they have void/non existent holy orders: youtube.com/live/AVNjRojNy…

@NickHammac @jfjoubert @MercifulMessage Shows that you don’t really know any Christians. The original Christians are us, Aramaic Christians, we say that all the time. We have nothing to do with western “Christians”

Being real - credentials mean we should take your opinion seriously and consider it. They dont mean youre automatically right - so stop acting like it. Its lowkey loser behavior.
ZZZZZZIFFSTER@IFFFMEISTER

Hey PSA to all scholars and theologians ive engaged with - swinging your credentials around to discredit ideas people have is extremely lame behavior. It does not make us take you more serious. Ive had people do this in my dms before bruh 😂😂😂😂 you just look goofy

@RolandGunnTN @alqdys13839 @casa_valera Point is, the culture and identity of a new national church must develop naturally and carefully over time and can’t be forced just for the comfort of people. For the time being, our 6 churches in America are doing just fine. Church is for salvation not a social club anyway.

@RolandGunnTN @alqdys13839 @casa_valera It was 1959 actually. For an American OO church to be granted autocephaly would take another two centuries at least. Having administrative independence leads to many problems. The Ethiopian is still facing challenges stemming from trying to figure out self-administration today

“Coptic Orthodoxy ” is not an ethnic restriction; it simply refers to the historic Church of Alexandria founded by Mark the Evangelist. Our Orthodox faith was never tied to one ethnicity, which is why the Coptic Orthodox Church today includes believers from many nations.
Andrew (Andrés) Messmer@casa_valera

@awmanspider I think the flaw is in the name: Coptic Orthodoxy, almost by definition, cannot be American Orthodoxy. 1 Cor 9.

A Lesson I Never Forgot Father Bishoy Kamel, of blessed memory, had just finished the raising of incense in preparation for the late liturgy during the Great Lent. Suddenly, the church bells began ringing to welcome Pope Kyrillos VI, who had arrived unexpectedly,as was his habit when visiting churches. Father Bishoy hurried to receive the saintly pope as he was climbing the church steps. At that moment, an elderly man who looked poor and in need stopped him. The pope gently patted the man on the shoulder, reassuring him that his request would certainly be answered. He asked the man his name and promised to pray for him. Father Bishoy then stood holding the Lamb tray before the pope, while the deacons were chanting “Kyrie eleison.” His heart was full of joy that he was sharing this beautiful liturgy with the pope. Suddenly he heard the pope asking him: “What was the name of the man who stopped us on the stairs, Father? A poor man may God relieve his distress.” Amid all the emotions and the surprise of the moment, Father Bishoy could not remember the name, so he apologized and said he had forgotten. The pope replied with a gentle smile that Father Bishoy never forgot for the rest of his life: “His name is ‘so-and-so,’ Father. This is a trust, my beloved. Everyone who asks you must be prayed for, never forget them. The altar is beautiful, Father. It hears the groaning of the people. We are only stewards, and we must carry their voices.” The blessed Father later said: “It was a lesson I never forgot. From that day on, I made it a habit to write down names on a paper that I always keep with me, and I pray for them at the offering of the Lamb.”

In case you needed any more proof that the Nestorians worship the holy fire like Zoroastrians, this guy who labels himself a subdeacon is unironically saying it is “The Uncreated Light.” He just said that it is God. These people are pagans, not “another family of orthodoxy.”
Sub Deacon Evgenii@S54851331Smith

@RealBenLuigi @Alex_Ortodoxie The reason they trash the Holy Fire (The Uncrated Light) is that their church can't produce it.
