@bhogleharsha Nowadays i believe players just focus on one aspect of their game batting or bowling and that is specially due to ipl because fielding won't win you contracts and big money..and to top that there is this pathetic impact player rule..god save the next generation cricketers😂

I would urge all the coaches who do such a fine job of nurturing young talent at grassroot levels, to create a fitness and fielding revolution in Indian cricket. The youngsters breaking through must be the fittest and the quickest.

They need to push the T20 World Cup back to a four-year cycle. While this win brought a lot of happiness to Indian fans, it didn’t have the impact it should have had. Because we had the same tournament just 20 months ago, not even a full two years since that final in Barbados. Any tournament that happens within two years can’t truly feel like a World Cup. Once in four years, that’s where the real charm lies.

Sachin Tendulkar is still a go to person for this generation. Rahul Dravid had enough time for the U19s to coach them, VVS Laxman is looking after the next generation. It is people like these, and those that seek them out, that make for a strong system.

It seems you are stuck in time and are unwilling to accept that the names you mentioned were just good players who couldn't win a world cup on their own. And, they can't be held responsible for everything that happens in India cricket. And that too, for ever. Move on, sir. Every generation writes its own history. With its own talent and skill set. Hero worshipping needs to stop. Its is the sole cause of moral degradation.
