Running Tencent Hy3, a 295B-parameter MoE, on one RTX 4060 Ti 16GB. How: NeutronStar (my CUDA fork of @antirez's ds4) keeps attention + shared experts resident and streams the routed experts off an SSD per token, so a 295B model runs on a $400 card. Had to write a new GQA attention path (ds4 was MLA-only) and build a ds4-native 2-bit GGUF. ~1.8 tok/s, interactive chat. Weights: huggingface.co/giannisan/Hy3-…

@superalesha It was without MTP, adding MTP gives me an additional boost of 100%, from 2 t/s to 8 t/s and with MTP : 10t/s

I sped up deepseek v4 flash by 29x on my 4x3090s !!! No, its not joke. 15 -> 443 t/s. a 23k prompt used to take 25 mins. Now it takes 53 secs. 284b in 2bit, 87gb, barely squeezes into 96gb. Me and Fable 5 spent 4 days in llama.cpp. Fixed everything that was broken

There is another idea that continuously return in my head recently: we should not stop writing code by hand. But this code will be like poetry. Small programs that are outstanding either because of style or new ideas introduced. Code you may print and frame on your wall.

Here is how a @SpaceX AI1 satellite will look in space. These satellites are basically NVIDIA racks in space, powered by the sun for free. Instead of grid electricity, on-site generation, and huge amounts of power and water for cooling, the GPUs in the AI1 satellites get powered and cooled 24/7 at essentially zero marginal cost while in space. • 70 m Wingspan (nearly the same as a 747 wingspan) • 20 m height when deployed • 150 kW peak • 120 kW average compute payload • 70 kW per ton • Compute provider interchangeable Thermal: • 110 m² deployable liquid radiator • Redundant pumping loops • Integrated micrometeor shielding Solar: • 150 kW Solar Array • 250W/m² • SpaceX manufactured solar technology from Bastrop, TX

@niccruzpatane @SpaceX 110 meters squared will not cool 120kw. That is just retarded. Literally go to any chat bot and ask it what you need to cool one of these.

"These hands are IP68 waterproof and food-safe, allowing NEO to wash its own hands like a human. The skin is co-designed with the sensors inside it and the tendons behind it. It is a functional material, not a cosmetic one. Because vision alone is insufficient for many tasks (especially with small, transparent, deformable, or occluded objects), this contact feedback is critical for adaptive, intelligent manipulation." We are living in cool times.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

U.S. based humanoid robotics company @1x_tech has just unveiled their new tendon-driven robot hands with 25 degrees of freedom (DOF).   • Made in USA • Tendon Drive Ratio: 5:1–15:1 • Wrist Dexterity: 3 DOF • Backdrivability: Fully backdrivable • Tactile Sensing: Pressure + location + slip • Finger Force: Up to 45 N • Wrist Torque: 17.75 Nm • Position Accuracy: ±0.2 mm • Waterproof Rating: IP68 • Reliability: >2 million cycles "These hands are designed to do something fundamental: remove the hardware ceiling on what humanoid robots can actually do, and make data the only barrier to capabilities. By matching or surpassing human hands across the dimensions that matter, they ensure our AI models are no longer limited by dexterity. NEO can now perform virtually any task a human can do with their hands– with the precision, adaptability, and gentleness required for real-world environments."

DeepSeek v4 will be updated mid-July. This is a very good news. Now: I hope GLM 5.3 will have the same architecture as GLM 5.2. Models are recently changing a lot because of big (to the attention) and small tweaks. This is good but costly development-wise.

Introducing NEO’s 25 Degrees of Freedom, tendon-driven hands — nearing or surpassing human-level dexterity, strength, speed, and reliability. For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.

A 19-year-old man accused of being part of the Scattered Spider hacking group has been arrested after investigators allegedly used a unique Windows identifier to track him down. According to U.S. prosecutors he was arrested in Finland before boarding a flight to Japan. He has since been extradited to the U.S. and faces charges including hacking, fraud, and conspiracy. Investigators say Microsoft shared information about a Global Device Identifier (GDID) with the FBI. GDID is a unique ID tied to Windows devices, and prosecutors claim it helped link the suspect’s computer to online accounts and hacking activity. Authorities say Scattered Spider has been linked to more than 100 cyberattacks and over $100 million in ransomware payments.

@Engineering67 I met people able to repair fiber by hand (this is not a joke), but they told me success was about 50% of the time, so they had to redo it multiple time to succeed.

Talk to Gemma 4 31B with our voice app! It sees and searches the web faster than you blink. Thanks to @cerebras’ ultra fast inference, the LLM is almost instantaneous. The whole stack is fully open-source, and is a drop-in replacement for OpenAI's realtime API. Demo: huggingface.co/spaces/smolage…

Most people should probably update their priors on the state of open-source speech-to-speech. It's honestly kind of mind-blowing. We teamed up with @cerebras to build a fully open-source realtime voice demo (models + code) to show what's possible today. Demo : huggingface.co/spaces/smolage… Blog: huggingface.co/blog/cerebras-… Go test it, fork it, tweak it, and impress your friends. video is raw, no cut, no speed-up, first take
