Your Excellencies, January 2026 marked the most brutal crackdown on protests in the history of the Islamic Republic. More than 30,000 people were killed, thousands were injured, blinded, or arbitrarily detained, and at least 200 children lost their lives. The crackdown is ongoing. According to Amnesty International, thousands of detainees remain at grave risk of torture, enforced disappearance, and execution. Despite this record, the Islamic Republic of Iran may choose to address the upcoming High-Level Segment of the United Nations Human Rights Council. We urge UN member states to confront the reality of this mass repression. If representatives of the Islamic Republic speak in Geneva, ambassadors should walk out in respect for the victims of January. At a minimum, those who remain must use their time to name the killings, torture, enforced disappearances, and mass arrests. The Iranian people do not need symbolic diplomacy. They need accountability. History will remember who stood with the victims. #StopIRILobby @SAMissionNY @UN_Nigeria @KenyaMissionUN @UNEgypt @UNEthiopia @ghanamissionun @Morocco_UN @AlgeriaUN @OnuSenegal @SudanMissionUN @TC_BMDT @IndiaUNNewYork @ChinaAmbUN @Chinamission2un @CHN_UN_NY @CambodiaUN @VietNam_UN

Terrorist Mousavian @hmousavian, Instead of prescribing peace, send a message to your killer associates in the Islamic Republic and tell them to surrender. For decades, you were part of a regime that killed its opponents, carried out assassinations in Europe, and today continues to repress and execute Iran’s youth. And now you speak of peace? Real peace will not come from within this system. First, the machinery of repression must be stopped. If you truly care about Iran, tell them to abandon violence and step aside. We will not forgive, and we will not forget. #FireMousavian

Breaking: Leila Khatami, the daughter of Islamic Republic's ex-prez Mohammad Khatami, who supported the mass murder of over 30,000 Iranians in January, teaches at @UnionCollege in NY. M. Khatami was marketed by Iran's regime as a "reformist" and toured the US and Europe. He also embraced the late French Holocaust denier Roger Garaudy. See @AAIRIA_Org director @LawdanBazargan's take on Khatami et al in @isareport 's exclusive @nypost. “For a large part of Iranian society, the idea of ‘reformist vs. hardliner’ has lost its meaning. It is seen as an internal division within the same system. Yet Western media and some analysts continue to frame Iranian politics this way, which, in effect, helps prolong the life of the regime by suggesting that meaningful change can come from within it.” nypost.com/2026/03/18/wor…

#FireAzodi #IranWar @GWtweets @GWAlumni @GWAlumniWeekend @GWAlumniofSoCal @GWAlumniChicago @GWHillel @GWTV @GWUGlobalWomen @ccasGU @thehoya @ElliottSchoolGW @IMESatGWU @Azodiac83 @CNN @BBC @bbcpersian @NPR @VOANews youtu.be/VBOstP9VLNQ?si…

It is deeply troubling that Sina Azodi, who is promoted by George Washington University as an “expert” on Iran, used a media interview not to inform the public but to attack and insult the journalist questioning him. In an interview with @VOAfarsi, Azodi repeatedly dismissed the reporter, @MahtabVahidiRad, told her to “stop saying wrong things,” and even declared, “you are not a journalist.” This kind of behavior is not scholarly debate. It is unprofessional, disrespectful, and unbecoming of someone presented to the media as an academic authority. Universities carry a responsibility when they promote individuals as experts to journalists and the public. When a faculty member responds to questions with personal attacks instead of evidence and analysis, it undermines not only the credibility of the individual but also the institution that elevates him. The fact that GWU’s Middle East Studies program is actively pushing such voices to major media outlets should raise serious concerns about the standards of expertise and professionalism being presented to the public on one of the most consequential issues in international security. Academic freedom does not mean freedom from professional standards. Scholars who represent major universities in the media must demonstrate intellectual rigor, respect for journalists, and the ability to engage in civil debate. What we saw in this interview was the opposite. #FireAzodi #IranWar@GWtweets @GWAlumni @GWAlumniWeekend @GWAlumniofSoCal @GWAlumniChicago @GWHillel @GWTV @GWUGlobalWomen @ccasGU @thehoya @ElliottSchoolGW @IMESatGWU @Azodiac83 @CNN @BBC @bbcpersian @NPR @VOANews youtube.com/watch?v=VBOstP…

The recent DOJ case charging Silicon Valley engineers with stealing trade secrets from major U.S. tech companies is a reminder that positions in research and technology sectors carry real national-security implications. This is precisely why AAIRIA calls on U.S. institutions to review ties with the children of senior Islamic Republic officials. When individuals connected to a regime built on repression, corruption, and massive financial scandals benefit from elite academic and tech positions in the United States, legitimate questions arise about transparency, conflicts of interest, and institutional integrity. This is not about personal attacks. It is about safeguarding democratic institutions. If the Islamic Republic has enriched certain families through abuse of power while ordinary Iranians suffer, U.S. universities and companies have both the right and the responsibility to conduct a serious review and due diligence. #StopIRILobby #DeportHajjarian @UMassLowell @StateDept @SecRubio justice.gov/usao-ndca/pr/s…
AAIRIA@AAIRIA_Org

Pursuant to the recent statement by the U.S. Department of State announcing that “the privilege of Iranian senior officials and their family members to remain in the United States will be revoked,” we call for an immediate review and appropriate action regarding Zeinab Hajjarian, the daughter of Saeed Hajjarian. Saeed Hajjarian is a key figure and one of the principal architects of the Islamic Republic’s security and intelligence structures, systems that for decades have played a direct role in repression, political engineering, the elimination of opponents, and the control of society. This record clearly places him among the senior military–security officials of the Islamic Republic. While the people of Iran are met with bullets, prison, and executions for demanding their most basic rights, Zeinab Hajjarian serves as a faculty member at @UMassLowell, benefiting from safety, freedom, and public resources in the United States. This is precisely the contradiction highlighted by the U.S. State Department’s statement. In accordance with the stated policy, those who have benefited from the Islamic Republic’s power structure and its repression should not be permitted to benefit from the U.S. immigration, academic, and institutional system. We therefore call for: An immediate review of Zeinab Hajjarian’s residency and employment status, and appropriate action consistent with the U.S. Department of State’s announced policy. @StateDept @SecRubio #DeportHajjarian

#StopIRILobby justice.gov/usao-ndca/pr/s…

@SecRubio @IntuitiveSurg @Google #DeportNoohi #DeportNouri

Pursuant to the @StateDept's recent policy revoking the privilege of Iranian senior officials and their family members to remain in the United States, we urge an immediate review of Ehsan Noohi Bezanji, son of Kobra Khazali, a senior Islamic Republic official who has openly supported compulsory hijab laws and repression of Iranian women. Mr. Noohi Bezanji is currently employed at Intuitive Surgical, while his spouse, Narges Nouri, works at Google. Both continue to benefit from safety, freedom, and elite professional opportunities in the U.S. while the Iranian people face violence, imprisonment, and death. Pursuant to your stated policy, individuals who have benefited from or are closely tied to the Iranian regime’s brutal oppression should not be permitted to benefit from the U.S. immigration system. Accountability must be applied consistently. @SecRubio @IntuitiveSurg @Google #DeportNoohi #DeportNouri

No Podium for Mass Murder More than 30,000 slaughtered. At least 200 children dead. Thousands tortured, blinded, disappeared into prisons where execution is a daily threat. And the Islamic Republic still expects a podium at the UN Human Rights Council? That is not diplomacy. That is laundering mass murder through procedure. If ambassadors sit politely while representatives of this regime speak in Geneva, they are not neutral observers. They are accessories to whitewashing. A walkout is not “dramatic.” It is the bare minimum act of moral hygiene. The crackdown is not a past event to be footnoted. It is ongoing. Families are still searching for their children. Detainees are still at risk of torture and execution. Every speech that ignores this reality is a betrayal of the victims. Name the killings. Name the torture. Name the enforced disappearances. Or walk out. There is no middle ground between accountability and complicity. History will not remember procedural niceties. It will remember who stood up when 30,000 voices were silenced. #IranMassacre #StopIRILobby

No Protocol for Massacre ⚖️🔥 In January 2026, the Islamic Republic carried out the most brutal crackdown in its 47 year history: over 30,000 protesters killed, at least 200 children among the dead, and thousands more injured, blinded, tortured, arbitrarily detained, or disappeared. 🕯️ This is not “domestic unrest.” It is a mass atrocity unfolding in real time, documented by Iranian civil society and human rights groups, while the perpetrators still enjoy diplomatic platforms and seats in UN bodies. If representatives of the Islamic Republic are allowed to address the High Level Segment, every state with a conscience faces a simple choice: Walk out and refuse to legitimize a regime that massacres its own people. Or stay in the room and use every second of speaking time to put the killings, torture, disappearances, and mass arrests of January 2026 formally on the record. 📢 The Iranian people do not need more polite photo ops or carefully crafted euphemisms. They need clarity and consequences. They need governments to publicly recognize this as the worst crackdown in the history of the Islamic Republic and respond accordingly: Support robust international accountability mechanisms. Back universal jurisdiction cases. Politically and diplomatically isolate the perpetrators instead of rewarding them with a global stage. 🌍 History will not remember who upheld protocol. It will remember who refused to normalize a regime that slaughtered tens of thousands of its own citizens, and who stood clearly and unequivocally with the victims of January 2026. #IranMassacre #StopIRILobby
