Translation: Thirty-five years of nothing but emptiness! He did not build a single school, not even one with two classrooms.
He did not build a hospital, not even one with two rooms.
He did not create a job for anyone not even a sanitation job.
He did not empower anyone with even one million naira as capital.
He did not build an orphanage, not even a single room.
He never sponsored the education of youths in his community, nor did he provide any skills or vocational training for self-reliance. Yet he spent between nine and ten billion naira on his children’s secondary school fees, while his close associates and extended family members are living in extreme poverty and hunger. That nine billion naira was not used to buy a house, land, a car, shares, or a business space nothing tangible at all. It was spent solely on school fees. From Yar Aduwa, Bazza, Gidadawa, and Gobirawa to Kofar Rini how many orphans have no food to eat? How many people cannot sleep when it rains? How many are crushed by extreme poverty? How many have died from malaria? 😢 Honestly, I consider this person useless, wicked, and oppressive. I have never seen someone like this in my life. Wallahi, it is not the theft of money that hurts me the most, but the wasteful and senseless way it was spent, while even your own younger brothers those who share the same father with you include people who do not even own a simple motorcycle to ride, let alone enjoy any real progress in life. May Allah deal with you in the Hereafter according to the cruelty with which you treated the people of our area. Shehu Islami Aminu Bello

May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you! Good question on the permisibility or otherwise of x and other platform monetisation. In Islam, the default principle in business is permissibility, as Allah has created everything in the universe for us. Allah says in the Qur'an: "He (Allah) it is Who created for you all that is on earth" (Surah Baqarah: 29). Also, for more explanation on this point, you may wish to read Majmu'ul Faatawah: (Volume 21: 535). However, if the content is mixed with both legitimate and prohibited elements, then the prohibited ads must be avoided where possible. Allah says: "And do not propagate mischief on the earth, after it has been set in order, and invoke Him with fear and hope; Surely, Allah's Mercy is (ever) near unto the good-doers" (Suratul Aaraf: 56). As stated above, If the ads are prohibited or harmful to innocent people, then some factors are to be considered to ensure that it is halal. The factors are: 1) Content being produced: The content you produce should be legitimate and legally permissible by both Islam and the law of the land. Such as educational content, among others. Allah says: "...Help you one another in virtue and righteousness..." (Maidah: 2). 2) The nature of the ads and their sponsors: The ads should be legitimate and permissible by both Islam and the law of the land. However, if the content is mixed, you try to avoid the content that is impermissible. Allah says: "...but do not help one another in sin and transgression." (Maidah: 2). 3. Unregulated Content: If some ads are beyond your control to regulate and avoid them, that is something excused by Allah. So the wayout here is, at the time of receiving the payment, you are to estimate the percentage of the impermissible content beyond your control and donate the amount in charity or community service. For more explanation on this, see the scholarly work of Imam Shadibiy in the Book of Muwaafaqaat, Volume 3, page 526 to page 528). 4. Ethical Engagements: There must be ethical engagements on social media, free from lies, gossip, character assassination, conspiracy, criminality, among many others. These engagements are unethical. You are to ensure that your engagements are just, fair, truthful, legitimate, and legal. Most important, we are to promote goodness and beneficial content over and above even the monetary earning. Allah says: "O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin..." (Nisaa: 135). 5) Indeed, Allah is the All-Knowing. I hope this is sufficient for you @el_bonga Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami
Mr. El-Bonga@el_bonga

Assalamu Alaikum @ProfIsaPantami. What is the correct, well-informed ruling on money gotten from monetisation on X given that the revenue with which people are paid from comes from different sources that may not be totally halal from Islamic perspectives? Thank you Ya Sheik.

@FSYusuff A Christian in Jos, is by far safer, happier, free, progressive and open than the Christians in Asaba or Owerri. You can ask your ancestors to verify this for you.

But Deborah couldn’t live freely for telling her coursemates to stop posting religious content on an academic WhatsApp group. My aunties couldn’t live freely because she is a Christian in the north and Christians are seen as the reason Buhari didn’t win 2011 presidential election. Bashir, you are a despicable spindoctor
Bashir Ahmad, OON@BashirAhmaad

Christians live freely and happily in every part of the North. That is exactly why we continue to counter every propaganda or narrative suggesting otherwise. There is no persecution of Christians in the North, we live together in peace, in harmony, and as one community. Terrorism and banditry are our common enemies, when those criminals strike, we all suffer equally.

@drkenon2 Asking them to convert to Islam? Are you sure you're not dull in saying that? What linked a kidnapper or bandit to Islam, talkless of forcing others to join?

Muslims screaming Allahu Akbar genocided Jews on October 7, 2023.

Muslims screaming Allahu Akbar genocided the Druze in Syria on April 28, 2025.

Muslims screaming Allahu Akbar are genociding Christians in Nigeria right now.

How many more religions are we going to allow Muslims to kill while screaming Allahu Akbar before we do something about it?

Moments ago, I joined Al Jazeera to discuss the drivers and patterns of mass school kidnappings in Nigeria, their implications for our education government, and what must be done to stop these attacks. Some of the key points I made include: 1.The Safe Schools Initiative launched a decade ago isn’t delivering results because it focuses on isolating and fortifying schools while insecurity worsens in the wider society. 2.Nigeria urgently needs to deploy rapid-response and rapid-reinforcement units to all major flashpoints. 3.Security agencies must seize the initiative and go on the offensive, rather than remaining defensive and reactionary. 4.Securing Nigeria’s borders to curb the unchecked flow of arms and drugs must be prioritised. 5.International support is necessary, but it must be targeted, strategic and technical. A large deployment of foreign troops would be wrong and counterproductive and will trigger political backlash, create complex command-and-control challenges, and feed extremist narratives.

We have no other country but Nigeria. No matter our differences or the challenges we face, this land remains our only home. It is our collective responsibility to protect it, to build it and to ensure it thrives for the generations coming after us.

@RepRileyMoore Where your idiot head is getting everything wrong is in calling the Nigerian insecurity a "Christians genocide". Until you align yourself with the reality, you'll continue to cause havock.

The persecution of Christians in Nigeria is escalating out of control. I believe it is now a genocide Is is up to the Nigerian government to work with the United States to stop the killings and kidnappings of our brothers and sisters in Christ. This human tragedy has to end, or else, @POTUS has made it clear that he will take action to stop this tragedy. Listen more to my interview with @kayleighmcenany on @FoxNews ⬇️

I asked the Nigerian Foreign Minister @YusufTuggar why Nigerian children hold pictures of Khamenei and wave flags of the terrorist Islamic dictatorship in Iran. This evil Islamic dictatorship has been murdering us Iranians for 47 years. Instead of answering, he said I'm LYING.
