Severe clashes persist between Bachama and Tshobo Christian militias in Lamurde LGA, Adamawa State, resulting in continuous attacks, killings, and the destruction of villages. Both sides have suffered heavy human and material losses, including casualties, burned homes, destroyed churches, and ruined community infrastructure. The statement urges the Adamawa State Government and security agencies to immediately intervene, restore order, and investigate the violence. It emphasizes that to end the cycle of violence and restore lasting peace, authorities must hold perpetrators from all sides accountable by prosecuting them for arson, murder, and other criminal acts.

For generations, the story of the Kutumbawa house remained largely absent from public discourse. Today, descendants of Sarkin Kano Alwali are increasingly speaking out, sharing their history and reminding Hausawa of a chapter of Kano’s past that many feel has been overlooked. A recent radio interview reportedly highlighted the emergence of over 40 Hakimai linked to their lineage. Whether one agrees with every claim or not, it is clear that conversations about the legacy of Kano’s historic Hausa royal houses are gaining renewed attention.

According to a statement released by his wife, @Bichia_maisango (IBM) was invited by the DSS Headquarters in Abuja on June 2 and has remained in custody ever since. She says she was only granted access to him after two weeks and expressed concern about his health condition, describing it as worrying. She also revealed that the family received no official communication during the period of his detention. In a message conveyed through his wife, IBM thanked supporters for keeping the struggle alive and urged them to remain steadfast. “Saura kiris mu shaki iskar yanci. Nagode.” The situation has raised concerns among his supporters, who continue to call for transparency regarding his detention.

SAD DEVELOPMENT: After Nigerian troops carried out a raid on a forest enclave linked to Aleru’s group in Kunchin Kalgo, Tsafe LGA of Zamfara State, residents woke up today to reports that soldiers have withdrawn from the area. The sudden pullout has triggered panic across nearby villages, with many civilians fleeing in fear of possible reprisals. Locals say the absence of security forces has left communities exposed, raising urgent concerns about what may follow next. Why withdraw troops so quickly after a major operation, and what protection is in place for civilians now at risk?

If your voice had been as loud when Muslims were being killed, including as recently as the bombing of the predominantly Muslim city of Maiduguri last week, as it is whenever Christians are affected, your expression of concern would have been seen as more genuine. However, your selective practice of only finding your voice when Nigerians of Christian faith are affected is far from being Christ-like. It reveals that these concerns are not in any way driven by the love of God or a love for humanity but rather by nothing more than a political agenda desired to appeal to certain interests in the US. Christ would see humanity first before he sees religion. As far as the vast majority of Nigerians are concerned, all Nigerian lives matter both Christians and Muslims and those of other religions, not just Christian’s’. Anything to the contrary is sowing division among the peace loving Nigerian people.

Christians in Nigeria continue to face brutal violence and death at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists. The government in Abuja must step up and protect their citizens in the Middle Belt. It's past time to decentralize police authority so state governments can protect their citizens and stop this horrific persecution.

SAD NEWS: This evening, just minutes before iftar, bandits attacked residents of Jiƙamshi town in Musawa LGA of Katsina State. The attack lasted nearly two hours, leaving one resident dead, several others injured and many valuables looted. The community mourns the victim and prays for the quick recovery of those injured. However, a pressing question remains: what happened to the peace deal that Musawa LGA stakeholders reached with the bandits just weeks before Ramadan? @dikko_radda @NGRSenate @DandutseMuntari @CaptJamyl @AM_Saleeeem @___Bils @FaridaAshu @AhmadUsman__ @Firdaussyyyy @embee309 @Sarki_sultan @jrnaib2 @woye1 @Dongarrus1 @Mallam_jabeer @_ZainabDabo @AbdulGidadoo @ShuaibuKankia @hanneymusawa

Not even armed soldiers are safe in Nigeria. It is open season for kidnappers, bandits, militants and terrorists, in rural areas as in urban areas. All in all, the government is doing great.

Amnesty International strongly condemns the killing of at least 15 people as a result of gunmen’s attack on Tashan Maje, Saduro, and Runtuwa villages of Borgu local government area of Niger state. The gunmen invaded the villages yesterday 28 February 2026 on dozens of motorcycles shooting in all directions. They also ransacked shops. This horrific attack is yet another indication of the escalating insecurity across Borgu. People are contantly living on the edge and feeling helpless. The authorities must do more to protect lives and ensure that suspected perpetrators are held to account through fair trials.

Setting the record straight about what the NSA, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, actually said during the Arewa Forum Meeting in Kaduna. Some people are twisting his words, claiming he called terr0rist$ and b@ndits “our brothers” without context. That’s not what happened. The NSA was clearly listing the names of terr0rist$ and b@ndit$ who have been elimin@t3d by the Nigerian forces. He never said that a brother doing ev!l would not be d3alt with. In fact, he emphasized that plenty of these so-called "brothers" have already been eliminat3d, and he made it clear that more will follow if they choose to continue disturbing the peace of the country. This false narrative circulating online is nothing but a deliberate attempt to distort the truth. If you actually listen to his speech, it’s obvious that the NSA is committed to ensuring the safety and stability of Nigeria, and he’s not holding back in the f!ght against t3rr0rism.

First, we must be clear about the crisis. Violence and insecurity in Nigeria affects people of all faiths, but Christians bear the overwhelming brunt of the attacks and have suffered in silence for two decades. Christians are 5 times more likely to be killed than any other religious group. Fulani militias and terrorist groups constantly attack Christians: targeting pastors and priests, burning schools and churches, often on holy days. They have killed tens of thousands.

Press Release: Congressman Riley M. Moore Presents Official Report to the White House with Solutions to End Christian Persecution in Nigeria Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Riley M. Moore joined members of the House Committees on Appropriations and Foreign Affairs at the White House to formally present the comprehensive report outlining concrete actions to end the persecution of Christians in Nigeria and counter growing extremist violence in the region. The meeting follows President Trump’s redesignation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) on October 31, 2025. President Trump requested Congressman Moore and Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole to lead a comprehensive investigation on the persecution against Christian communities and security challenges plaguing Nigeria. This report is the result of months of investigation, including a bipartisan congressional fact-finding trip to Nigeria, hearings with expert witnesses, consultations with religious leaders, meetings with Internally Displaced Persons, and engagement with senior Nigerian government officials. The official report outlines several key recommendations, including: - Establishing a bilateral U.S.–Nigeria security agreement to protect vulnerable Christian communities and dismantle jihadist networks. - Withholding certain U.S. funds, pending demonstrable action by the Nigerian government to stop violence against Christians. - Implementing sanctions and visa restrictions against individuals and groups responsible for or complicit in religious persecution. - Providing technical support to the Nigerian government to eliminate violence from armed Fulani militias. - Demanding the repeal of Sharia and blasphemy laws - Working with international partners including France, Hungary, and the United Kingdom Congressman Riley M. Moore released the following statement: “Following today’s productive meeting at the White House, I want to thank President Trump for redesignating Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern and for his Administration’s commitment to protecting our brothers and sisters in Christ from persecution and addressing the broader security challenges plaguing Nigeria. Since President Trump redesignated Nigeria as a CPC and tasked me to lead a Congressional investigation, I have worked diligently with my colleagues to produce the report we presented today. I also want to thank House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole, Vice Chair Mario Diaz-Balart, Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast and Congressman Chris Smith for their leadership on this comprehensive investigation and delivering this report to the White House. I traveled on a bipartisan delegation to Nigeria and saw with my own eyes the horrific atrocities Christians face, and the instability the Nigerian government must combat. Through Congressional hearings, expert testimony, meeting with Internally Displaced People, hearing from religious leaders, and engaging with high-level Nigerian government officials, we have provided a clear picture of the threat environment in Nigeria and the horrific persecution Christians face. This report outlines concrete steps to impose accountability measures, counter radical Islamic terrorism, and lays out a plan to work in coordination and cooperation with the Nigerian government to bring security to all the people of Nigeria. Our brothers and sisters in Christ have suffered in silence for too long. The world is now watching, and I urge the Nigerian government to take the opportunity to deepen and strengthen its relationship with the United States. Doing so is in the interest of both our great nations. Together, we must address these pressing security challenges and bring an end to violence against Christians.”

Governor Radda lauds DSS, Army, Police, for rescuing 19 Christian, 2 Muslim hostages *4 Suspects Arrested Katsina State governor, Alhaji Dikko Umar Radda, has applauded the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigerian Army, as well as the Nigeria Police Force, for rescuing 21 victims kidnapped in the state. The disclosure was conveyed in a statement issued on Saturday by the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Dr. Nasir Mua'zu. The Commissioner stated that, Governor Radda commended the security agencies for what the governor described as the "professionalism and courage displayed during the operation." According to the statement, the victims, made up of 19 Christians and two Muslims, were rescued during a joint security operation on Dargaza Hills, in Danmusa Local Government Area of the state. The operation, stated the Commissioner, which included the members of the State Community Watch Corps, led to the arrest of four suspects whom he said are undergoing investigation. "The rescued victims comprised 16 women, two men and three babies, were kidnapped from Gidan Sarkin Bayero Village in Musawa LGA and other locations. "19 of the rescued victims are Christians, while two are Muslims. This shows the indiscriminate nature of banditry and the government's commitment to protecting all citizens regardless of religion," said the state government. "The operation particularly targeted the enclave of notorious bandit leader Kamilu Chiroma, also known as Buzaru, in Dargaza Hills. "This successful rescue demonstrates the effectiveness of intelligence-driven operations and the synergy among our security agencies," noted the statement. "The State Government wishes to assure citizens that the suspects will face the full weight of the law upon completion of investigations. "We also want to reiterate that Governor Dikko Umaru Radda's commitment to ending banditry and restoring lasting peace across Katsina State is non-negotiable," he declared.
