@RDXThinksThat @RShivshankar @roja_roja85 Me thinx: Vijay is doing a smart thing- playing both BJP & Congress. Hopefully, Modi will see thru his game- besides being an Inter-State matter, there's a Supreme Court intervention n advisory, too. The ball should be allowed 2 dangle n bounce, any which way,bet the two States.

SOMETHING NOT ADDING UP If ally Rahul Gandhi is such a big votary of “Cooperative Federalism” why Did Vijay Need to Meet PM Modi? OR was there more to the meeting than meets the eye? Indeed, TN CM Vijay’s meeting with PM Modi over Karnataka’s Mekedatu project is a curious one. Vijay reportedly objected to the proposed project over the Cauvery river. Vijay flagged concerns over a Karnataka government's bhoomi pooja allegedly contrary to SC directions. But here’s the bigger question: if Cong truly practises the “cooperative federalism” Rahul Gandhi preaches, why did Tamil Nadu CM feel compelled to seek the PM’s intervention against the government in Karnataka which is run by his own ally? Vijay could have raised the issue with Rahul Gandhi himself.

Past 24 hours in global politics: 🇺🇸 America: “We conducted purely defensive strikes.” 🇮🇷 Iran: “That’s exactly what an offensive strike looks like.” 🇮🇱 Israel: “While everyone is distracted, we have 17 more operations scheduled.” 🇨🇳 China: “We urge restraint.” (Translation: please continue buying our exports while fighting.) 🇷🇺 Russia: “This is a violation of international law.” Entire planet pauses to admire the confidence required to belt out such a crap with a straight face. Oil prices: 📈 Diplomats: 📉 Mainstream media experts: promoted to Supreme Allied Commanders overnight. Meanwhile the UN is bravely preparing its strongest statement yet: “We are deeply concerned.”

Inspired by PM Narendra Modi ji’s call for fuel conservation, I have started using a bicycle for all work within a 5-7 km radius from my home. It is a small personal step towards saving petrol and diesel, while also embracing a healthier lifestyle. Sometimes, meaningful change begins with simple choices.

West Bengal is not a state. It is a wound on India’s eastern flank. 2,216 kilometres. That is Bengal’s border with Bangladesh. Practically penetrated. Every night. I know. TMC lost Bengal long back. But what you are about to read… never reached television studios. Early morning. 2023. New Delhi. A room with no windows. No cameras. No official minutes. The Prime Minister sat at the head. NSA beside him. Home Minister. Defence Minister. BSF chief. RAW officer. IB officer. Seven chairs. One problem. The IB officer spoke first. October 2, 2014. Burdwan. Khagragarh. A rented house. Disguised as a burqa factory. Inside? JMB operatives building IEDs. The blast happened accidentally. 2 dead. 55 IEDs recovered. RDX. Hand grenades. This was not a crime scene. It was a forward operating base. Inside India. Then the BSF chief opened a file. 569 kilometres of border. Still unfenced. Land acquisition stalled. Year after year. Not incompetence. Strategy. Because elections were no longer about ideology. They were about demography. Murshidabad. Malda. North Dinajpur. Voter rolls that did not match census data. Aadhaar cards. Ration cards. Voter IDs. Distributed quietly. Per head. Like a business model. With quarterly targets. Then came the routes. ISI. JMB. Rohingya identities. Yaba tablets. Fake currency. Small arms. Myanmar to Bangladesh. Bangladesh to Bengal. Bengal to the rest of India. The Home Minister spoke next. The Centre wanted BSF jurisdiction expanded. From 15 km inland… to 50. The TMC Government resisted. A CM blocking a border force… inside her own border state. Then the NSA placed a map on the table. 22 kilometres. That is all separating mainland India from the Northeast. 7 states. 40 million people. One vulnerable corridor. The Siliguri Corridor. The Chicken’s Neck. Bangladesh below it. China above it. Lalmonirhat airbase. 135 kilometres away. And Beijing will take over it soon. The room went silent. One voice finally said it. “Declare President’s Rule.” “Take the border out of state hands.” The Prime Minister shook his head. “Not possible.” Courts would intervene. And Article 356 would not erase, 15 years of engineered demography. Then came the line nobody wrote down. “There is only one permanent solution.” No order was issued that day. No press release. No announcement. But a message left that room. West Bengal. 2026. Not just an election. A national security operation, wearing democratic clothes. May 2026. BJP wins Bengal. 378 kilometres of stalled fencing. Unblocked. BSF jurisdiction. Expanded. NIA and state police. Coordinated. The document rackets. Exposed. And for the first time in 15 years… The Siliguri Corridor had a government friendly to India’s security interests. India had just won something the world still has no vocabulary for. But someone in that 2023 room already did.

Was talking to a Bengali friend whose parents/in-laws live in Kolkata. He casually told me, his brother-in-law was moving houses to Triangular park, a relatively posh area, The truck full of furniture etc just as it was about to enter the society, was stopped by the ‘syndicate’ and was asked to pay 20K, or else they wouldn’t be allowed to move in. They had to pay. The crime was so blatant & widespread, it didn’t discriminate.

Until 2021, the Indian Army was still throwing a hand grenade the British designed in 1915. Grenade No. 36 Mk-I, a WW1-era weapon notorious for uneven fragmentation that occasionally maimed the thrower. Solar's EEL replaced it with 10 lakh Multi-Mode Hand Grenades and became the first private Indian company to supply complete ammunition to the armed forces. That was only the opening act. The deeper unlock came when DRDO transferred BrahMos solid propellant booster technology to Solar. India had been importing 35 boosters a year from Russia for its flagship cruise missile. ToT to a private company was a privilege normally reserved for DPSUs. Solar today supplies propellants and warheads across BrahMos, Pinaka, Akash and several other indigenous platforms. Then Nagastra-1, India's first fully indigenous loitering munition at 75 percent local content. 480 units were delivered under emergency procurement in late 2024. Combat debut happened in Operation Sindoor. January 2026, Rajnath Singh flagged off the first batch of Guided Pinaka rockets from Solar Defence and Aerospace's Nagpur plant. Armenia already buys it. Nigeria and Indonesia are next in the queue. Bhargavastra, the counter-drone system out of the same facility, was test-launched recently. This company has quietly built a full stack in Indian defence: warhead chemistry, missile propellants, loitering munitions, guided rockets, counter-UAS. The Padma Shri is absolutely well deserved. Disclosure: not invested.

Farhan Akhtar announced Don3 in 2023. Never made it. Just kept delaying it. The moment Dhurandhar became a hit, started demanding dates to cash on it. It was still civil. Then Ranveer Singh visited RSS office & Hedgewar memorial. This was when he started full social media propaganda against Ranveer. Now he got federation of cine employees to ban Ranveer Singh. Guess who is their advisor? Ashok Pandit!!! If you don't follow orders from Pakistan linked Bollywood mafia, this happens...1/2

■ You know S. Jaishankar, India’s sharp, no-nonsense External Affairs Minister. But do you know about his father? Meet Krishnaswamy Subrahmanyam, widely regarded as the Father of India’s Nuclear Doctrine, one of the most influential voices in Indian national security, legendary strategic thinker, and civil servant. ■ Born in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, K. Subrahmanyam topped the IAS exam and joined the 1951 batch. A brilliant mind with an MSc in Chemistry, he redefined how India thought about power, security, and survival in a hostile world. □ Pioneering Defence Strategist: Founding Director of the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) twice. He mentored generations of analysts and shaped India’s defence discourse for decades. □ Nuclear Visionary: Fiercest advocate for India’s nuclear weapons programme. He strongly backed the 1974 Pokhran test, and played a central role in the 1998 tests. He chaired the National Security Advisory Board that drafted India’s nuclear doctrine - No First Use + Credible Minimum Deterrence. □ Kargil Review Committee Chairman (1999): His committee’s explosive report led to major reforms in intelligence and defence structure, paving the way for the creation of the Chief of Defence Staff post years later. □ 1971 Bangladesh War: One of the strongest voices pushing India to intervene and stop the humanitarian catastrophe. □ Fearless Civil Servant: Served as Defence Production Secretary, Home Secretary of Tamil Nadu, and more. He was removed and superseded for speaking truth to power yet never compromised his principles. ■ On 24 August 1984, K. Subrahmanyam was a passenger on Indian Airlines Flight 421 (Delhi to Srinagar), which was hijacked by pro-Khalistani militants shortly after takeoff. The plane was diverted to Lahore and then Dubai. As a young IFS officer, S. Jaishankar was part of the crisis management team in Delhi handling the negotiations. Four hours into the ordeal, when he called home to say he couldn’t return because of the hijacking, he discovered that his own father was on the plane. All passengers were eventually released safely in Dubai. Even under threat, Subrahmanyam reportedly used the situation to observe and gather insights. ■ He authored/co-authored over a dozen books, wrote incisive columns for decades, advised Prime Ministers across parties, and influenced the Indo-US civilian nuclear deal. A true realpolitik thinker who understood China, Pakistan, and global power games long before others did. ■ Married to Sulochana, the couple raised four accomplished children, including: □ S. Jaishankar (Foreign Minister) □ Sanjay Subrahmanyam (renowned historian) □ S. Vijay Kumar (senior IAS officer) □ Sudha Subrahmanyam. ■ Subrahmanyam declined the Padma Bhushan, believing public servants and journalists shouldn’t chase honours. Even in his final years battling cancer, his intellect remained razor-sharp. ■ He passed away on 2 February 2011. India’s strategic community mourned with the words: “Subrahmanyam is dead. India’s strategists are widowed.” In the grand tapestry of India’s destiny, K. Subrahmanyam was not just a proud father, but also the quiet architect of a nation’s awakening, a luminous mind that lit the path of strategic wisdom, a steadfast guardian of sovereignty, and a timeless flame of patriotism whose glow continues to guide India’s journey through the corridors of power and peace. A patriot, intellectual, and nation-builder in the truest sense. 🇮🇳🙏🏻
