@Pnkj_Dahiya @Hostinger If you can't even load cPanel, the entire shared node is down. Budget hosts don't have phone support because their margins rely on automated ticket queues. Are your backups trapped inside that dead cPanel, or do you have off-site copies so you can migrate today

@marvin_chege10 @Hostinger Suspending a VPS for 'high traffic' proves it wasn't a real isolated VPS; it was just a capped shared instance. Real cloud infrastructure doesn't shut off a 5-year-old business, it auto-scales. Are you looking for true containerized cloud, or just another budget host?

So @Hostinger suspends VPSs for websites over 'high traffic'. So much for better. Guys, suggest alternatives or I may have to do away with my website viraltea.co.ke after five years.

@PittsburghSport @bluehost 3 crashes a week isn't a glitch, it's the reality of shared hosting. When another site on your node gets a traffic spike, your resources get throttled and you go down. Are you looking to move to isolated cloud, or hoping they move you?

@kishorksukumar @HostGator @HGSupport 9 days is catastrophic. They're gridlocked patching shared cPanel clusters and ignoring tickets to stop the bleeding. Are your site backups trapped on their server, or are you migrating the exact second you get access back?

Day 9 of my server being completely DOWN with @HostGator. 📉 Provided all details via DM as requested, still nothing. Tickets ACOM-3138 & E-518989 haven't seen an email update in over 60 hours. What does it take to get an actual resolution? @HGSupport

@MovieManifesto Doing 'Saturday maintenance' on a Friday midday is the ultimate shared-hosting nightmare. When 500 sites share the same budget server, one bad update takes everyone down. Are they still locking you out of the dashboard, or did they finally roll it back?

So Bluehost said they’d be doing a maintenance upgrade on Saturday outside of business hours, and now it’s midday Friday and my website is down indefinitely. Trying to fix it ASAP, thanks for your patience.

@AdamHyatt @GoDaddy @GoDaddyHelp 25 years of loyalty and they hit you with a non-refundable $300 auto-renewal trap. That is exactly why so many founders are fleeing their ecosystem right now. Are you locked in for another full year, or are you actively trying to migrate your domains/hosting out

here’s what I was working on migrated a canadian travel partner’s website from hostinger to an Azure VM because of their insane renewal costs (>₹1.6L for 4 years wtf) biggest challenge was moving ~100GB of site data while ensuring there was no downtime 🧵
Vivian@vynride

this is an incredibly stressful week

@LEzer84339 @Netlify 2+ weeks down with no response is brutal. For a credit limit pause, they should at least give you a grace period to export. For the transfer — if you're moving to traditional hosting, look for one with a price-lock guarantee. You're already dealing with one surprise lockup;

Hi @Netlify — my site ben-hashmashot.com has been down for 2+ weeks due to a credit limit pause. I submitted a support ticket 2 days ago with no response. I need urgent help to either restore access or transfer my domain out. Ticket is under liadezer2@gmail.com

@rathore7482 @Hostinger @Arnas_s NXDOMAIN errors often mean DNS propagated incorrectly or the zone file got corrupted during a backend update. Hostinger's support loop is notorious for this. If you're running company sites, check whether your current plan offers isolated resources or on crowded shared hosting

Very disappointed with Hostinger. Our company websites suddenly stopped working with DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN after running perfectly for last 5 days. No proper urgent ticket support for critical business downtime. Need immediate assistance ASAP. @Hostinger @Arnas_s

@MovieManifesto "Scheduled maintenance" that takes down a site during business hours is a red flag — it means they don't have redundant infrastructure. When you evaluate alternatives, ask if they offer a price-lock guarantee too. Downtime costs you money, but renewal hikes compound it.

@PittsburghSport @bluehost 3 times in a week is unacceptable. Bluehost is EIG-owned — they overcrowd shared servers and support becomes a script-reading exercise. When you switch, check the new host's TTFB before committing. Most people only compare price, but server response time is what keeps you onlin

@vynride Solid architecture. Multi-AZ + load balancer is enterprise-grade infra. 💪 I built a free TTFB benchmark tool for non-technical store owners who can't set up cloud infra. Useful if any clients need a simpler fix. Happy to share if useful.

@AlexVibeCode Yes ttfb was much faster, the vps was placed much closer to users with a load balancer in front of the vps instances in 3 availability zones

@PawnCoinPc @Hostinger Appreciate it! 💪 Once the DNS propagates, run a TTFB check on the new setup. Shared nodes can get crowded fast. I have a free benchmark tool to verify the speed upgrade is real. Want the link?

@_kelly_neill_ @DreamHost That's a nightmare scenario for a launch — sorry you're dealing with it. A bad node reputation also kills email deliverability, which most people don't realize until their bounce rate spikes. When you evaluate the next host, Look specifically for a price-lock guarantee

@Dreamhost has one of my websites on a node with a bad reputation. And my site is being punished for it - I can't even send a PHPMailer emails out on a slow drip (two dozen a day). This is four support tickets, two chats, a phonecall, and 10 hours later. They have fucked my book's pre-launch beyond repair. Looking at other hosting - on a Saturday night I will not forget. Fucking ridiculous.

@Vikashk05700484 @Hostinger Hostinger support can be a loop. The "server issue" excuse is often code for overcrowded nodes on shared plans. If you decide to switch, ask the new host for their TTFB benchmark before you sign up. Most people only check storage/price, but server response time is the you need.

@HostGator @HGSupport Do you have any retention/renewal promo codes that are working for existing customers who are considering switching to cheaper alternatives?

@ethanjaack Totally. The renewal gap is where people get burned — not the signup price. Before switching, worth calculating what you'd actually pay year 2+. Some providers lock the price, others double it. Happy to share a quick calc if useful.

@ethanjaack "Exactly — the hard part is most alternatives run the same renewal pricing playbook. The one metric worth checking before switching is the year-2 renewal rate, not the intro price. What host are you currently on?"

@AlexVibeCode maybe it's time to bounce to a hosting provider that actually values your time and has support that works when you need it.

@bluehost Jumping from $43 to $74 per month without warning and calling it an “upgrade” isn’t an upgrade — it’s a price shock. Transparency should be part of the plan. #Bluehost
