🚨 EXCLUSIVE 🚨 A 2022 Nashville, Tennessee property tax receipt I uncovered (see below) proves that George Farmer, Candace Owens’s @RealCandaceO husband, personally paid the full $18,801.61 tax bill on one of their multi-million Nashville homes via eCheck. The owner of record at the bottom of the receipt is clearly listed as “THE BATTERY LANE TRUST.” See screenshot below 👇🏻 The trust itself didn’t pay its own taxes. George Farmer paid them out of pocket with no sign that the trustee or trust accounts were involved. In the Macron defamation lawsuit against Candace Owens and her companies, this could be significant. It appears the property was being treated as personal rather than as a true, separate trust property. Personal payments like this on trust-owned real estate can open the door for discovery into how the trust is really operated, who controls it, and who actually benefits from the trust. This receipt comes straight from the public records of the Metropolitan Trustee’s office in Nashville, Tennessee, where Candace and George live, and where the Candace Owens Podcast is broadcasted. It definitely raises serious questions about whether this trust is operating the way a legitimate trust should, or if it’s mostly just for show. That kind of personal involvement by George Farmer in paying taxes on trust-owned property can support arguments by Brigitte Macron’s lawyers to pierce the trust in the defamation lawsuit SHE filed against Candace Owens. When beneficiaries treat trust assets like their own personal property through direct payments and control, it can provide clear evidence of commingling and lack of proper separation. This opens the door for plaintiffs to argue the trust should be disregarded as an alter ego, allowing them to reach the real estate assets directly rather than stopping at the named defendants. Additionally, this receipt shows the Owens-Farmer home in question was titled to the trust, yet handled at the personal level, which could make it much easier to demonstrate that the trust wasn’t truly functioning as a separate entity. Candace Owens claimed her legal fees in the Macron lawsuit would be nearly $5 million. She said on video, “I don’t have that money.” She then proceeded to ask her viewers for donations and began selling merch to cover her legal fees. She does have the money though… There are at least 2 luxury real-estate properties listed in The Battery Lane Trust worth at least $12 million in Nashville, Tennessee. Oddly enough, I discovered these properties are only 2.3 miles away from each other. It’s time for Candace Owens to stop crying poverty and grifting off of her audience. These leaks of Supreme Court confidential deliberations have to stop. 1) The Obama Clean Power Plan was a legal abomination, which is why we killed it in Trump 45, after the Supreme Court wisely stayed that plan in 2016. I was on the front lines of defending the replacement rule — the ACE Rule (the Affordable Clean Energy Rule). I’d have argued that case in the DC Circuit, if there were not other pressing matters at the end of 2020 and had I not taken over the Civil Division as well in September 2020. 2) These leaks are happening because the Left hates that Chief Justice Roberts knows their tune. Starting in the Clinton Administration but really taking off with environmental radicals in the Obama Administration, the Left took climate change alarmism to epic proportions and basically leaned how to hold a gun to industry’s head, raising the stakes to astronomical levels if they challenged environmental regulations (then backed by the now-defunct Chevron deference) and wound up losing. This caused industry in many cases to cave to stupid and incredibly damaging environmental regulation, so they could stay on the good side of the Obama-ites. The Chief saw this game of extortion and acted to stop to it with the quick 5-4 stay of the Clean Power Plan, launching howls from people like Professor Vladeck about “shadow dockets,” which makes it sound like the Supreme Court conservatives cook up dark necromancy in ancient cauldrons, when all they are doing is applying a standard 4-part equitable test and not delaying relief for so long that cases challenging massive regulations become effectively moot. 3) Will the DC Bar open a sua sponte deep investigation to find the leakers? The leaking Supreme Court clerks have violated ethics rules five ways to Sunday. But don’t hold your breath. The leaking clerks are on the Left and they get to act with impunity because DC is a one-party town. Furthermore, don’t hold the reporters to be innocents here. The same paper that will use leaks like this to promote their leftist agenda by suborning ethical violations, will happily endorse weaponized bar recommendations against lawyers associated with President Trump, even ones like me who defend privilege and confidentiality. The Left’s lack of legal ethics means nothing to the New York Times. 4) To take a step back, this is all yet another manifestation of the two-tiered standard of justice.
