I've known plenty of mom and pop landlords who get screwed over by their tenants.
That's why they sell to private equity firms and good tenants pay the price as rents continue to increase.
All renters in Boston have the right to a safe and sanitary apartment.

Rodents or bugs?
Mold?
Blocked exits?
No heat?
