A mock political party erupted across Indian social media this week, becoming a symbol of Gen Z disillusionment with the country’s political establishment and anger over a worsening jobs crisis in the world’s most-populous nation bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
@business@akritiisharma You should do your job with 100% unbiased and present what's factory, instead of promoting paid agendas just for your career's petty growth. Think 1st before publishing such articles to defame your own country. Atleast for Integrity's sake.
The “Cockroach Janta Party” is one of India’s most viral movements taking aim at the country’s political establishment. Behind the memes and satire is a deeper story about youth unemployment, political frustration and why Gen Z Indians are increasingly speaking up.

@dhruv_rathee Dear Mr Gay/Transman,
First you come to India before you comment on our country. We are well aware of your desperate attempt to stay in Germany so you won't have to come back India, but do know this, you can't escape reality long as the country you live in is very democratic
Modi deserves to be humiliated everywhere he goes.
He has not given a single press conference in 12 years since he became the Prime Minister. He fails to fulfill the basic transparency and accountability requirements of being a leader.
I would like to encourage foreign journalists from other European countries to ask him questions wherever they see him, just like @HelleLyngSvends did. Embarrass him so much that he is forced to show some accountability in front of people. You will be doing great service for India’s progress.
@HelleLyngSvends Lady why did you didn't answer back when External affairs ministers replied to you? Is your job only to ask a random question and get popular?
Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to.
Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba.
It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.
@Priyaa_Purohit She's literally the worst any state can ever has, disgace to a democratic country like India. She's good fit for countries like Bangladesh Pakistan mayanmar
@Pawankhera@AshwiniVaishnaw Cheap politicians like you are the resistance to country's growth, instead of being a responsible opposition and supporting country, you are involved in every single oppertunity of shaming country in petty issues. Don't you know where there's growth there'll be some casualties.
.@AshwiniVaishnaw has proved that in India AI means “Ashwini is Incompetent.”
As for the “Pradhan (Tamasha) Mantri” - every event is a Jhappi-Pappi Fest.
This was supposed to be an AI Summit - a platform for innovation and exchange of ideas. BJP reduced it to a cheap China Bazaar.
@AITCofficial@MamataOfficial@BJP4India@NitishKumar TMC can't handle Own state problems, here commenting on other state's internal affairs. 1st answer where's TATA motor plant? Where are the jobs? Where's the compensation to those plot sellers?
Hon’ble CM Smt. @MamataOfficial has strongly condemned @BJP4India and @NitishKumar’s decision to ban the sale of meat in open spaces in Bihar.
She made it clear that such directives are not merely administrative orders, they reflect a larger attempt to interfere in people’s food habits and personal choices. Bengal has always celebrated diversity in culture and cuisine, and any move to police what citizens eat is deeply anti-people. She warned that those who impose such restrictions elsewhere must not assume they can dictate the eating habits of Bengal.
Is the @ECISVEEP of the view that directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court can be openly FLOUTED? The highest Court of the land has repeatedly emphasised transparency, due process, and adherence to official channels of communication. Yet we are witnessing instructions being circulated over WhatsApp rather than through formal, traceable, and accountable mechanisms.
Even more disturbing are credible reports of Special Roll Observer, C. Murugan, issuing instructions regarding the acceptability of birth certificates directly to Micro Observers in a WhatsApp group, to inflate deletion numbers. Need I remind the ECI of the Supreme Court’s categorical directive that the role of micro-observers must remain strictly assistive? Why, then, is statutory procedure being bypassed, and under whose instructions?
Additionally, Roll Observers are designated district-wise, yet it is seen that login credentials linked to these observers are being accessed from a central location in Kolkata. Login Data is being misused to generate queries and specifically target a certain community at the direction of ECI’s political masters in Delhi. Should this matter be independently examined, it will be established that the tower location and IP address of the login device differ from the actual location of the concerned roll observer.
The Election Commission derives its legitimacy from PUBLIC TRUST, not POLITICAL PATRONAGE. We shall pursue this matter before the highest court of law. Further, any person aligning themselves with or acting at the behest of Zamindars of Delhi will face stringent and uncompromising legal action. Brace yourselves!
@asiatimesonline Dumass media, what loss seriously, have you seen the damag proofs provided by both sides officially?! Haha fake media channel.spotted.
@business@JeelaniReports Stop with your propaganda for wherever you're getting funding from, instead of reporting what's the jist you're trying to sabotage by stupid statements, this is called biassed media.

👉India's Rupee: Asia's Worst-Performing Currency in 2025
▪️In 2025, compared to the other Asian currencies India’s Rupee has recorded the highest decline
▪️Rupee weakened by -6.03% against the dollar, breaching the
₹90/$ mark for the first time ever
▪️Chinese Yuan strengthened by +3.42% against the dollar
▪️The RBI spent over $45 billion to defend the Rupee but it still ended as the biggest loser
▪️A weak rupee means👇
• High import bills (oil, electronics, gold
• Higher inflation for everyone
• Bigger burden on your fuel, groceries, and EMIs
• Less purchasing power for middle class and poor
And no, the “dollar rising” and “global headwind” arguments won’t hold.
Rupee has weakened due to poor policies, high trade tariffs hitting exporters, and massive FPI outflows.
#WATCH | Delhi | Detained TMC MP Mahua Moitra says, "ED is not carrying out the investigation but is illegally stealing. The ED is not taking any action because if there was a seven-year-old coal scam, it suddenly woke up, a month before the Bengal elections, and they remembered the idea of taking action, and where did they go to take action? I-PAC is not a hidden organization. Everyone in India knows that I-PAC is an election strategist, an election consultant. They've been working with the Trinamool Congress not just from today, but for the last seven or eight years, and all our services, all our candidate lists, all our election information is with I-PAC because that's what they do. They raided their office. We would say it wasn't a raid, the ED committed a robbery, and they were taking all our information, and it's our duty, it's our party's duty to protect that information, and that's where Mamata Banerjee, the lioness, went...Only Mamata Banerjee can stop them like this, and this morning, eight of us MPs came and we were protesting outside the Home Ministry. We were peacefully protesting, and you saw how they picked us up, dragged us, and brought us here..."
Mamata Banerjee said that IPAC is in charge of Trinamool. It is their internal matter if they want a private agency to run the party and decide tickets and organisational positions.
👉🏻 But what were Government of West Bengal documents doing in the IPAC office❓
👉🏻 Is IPAC intervening in the functioning of the West Bengal government❓
This is a direct challenge to the Constitution, where the bureaucracy appears to be reporting to a private agency. In the past also, we have seen emails sent by bureaucrats to IPAC employees to decide the campaign of the West Bengal government. Mamata Banerjee is accountable to the people of West Bengal and should clarify whether an agency from outside the state, staffed by people from other states, is intervening in the functioning of the government‼️
I strongly condemn the shameful and unacceptable treatment meted out to our Members of Parliament. Dragging elected representatives on the streets for exercising their democratic right to protest outside the Home Minister’s office is not law enforcement - it is arrogance in uniform. This is a democracy, not the BJP’s private property.
Democracy does not function on the convenience or comfort of those in power. When BJP leaders protest, they expect red carpets and special privileges. When opposition MPs raise their voices, they are dragged, detained, and humiliated. This double standard exposes the BJP’s idea of democracy - obedience, not dissent.
Let it be clear: respect is mutual. You respect us, we respect you. You drag us on the road, and we will drag you back to the constitutional idea of tolerance, dissent, and democratic morality. This is our India. We are citizens by right, not at the mercy of a chair, a badge, or a position of power. No government, no party, and no Home Minister gets to decide who deserves dignity in a democracy.
@RepMcGovern@RepRaskin Instead of being a paid mouth piece do some actual work for atleast the country you stay in. Hope you take your job as lawmaker seriously to do something meaning instead of getting media attention via blah blah posts
Earlier this month, I met with the parents of Umar Khalid, who has been jailed in India for over 5 years without trial. @RepRaskin & I are leading our colleagues to urge that he be granted bail & a fair, timely trial in accordance with international law.
Met Ms. @ClauSanhueza, Treasury Undersecretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chile.
Reviewed the progress of negotiations towards advancing the India–Chile Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). 🇮🇳🇨🇱
