@maheshperi This need a serious review, taking into account all the factors. In a fastest growing major economy where there’s dearth of skills, why are we not able to impart skills which are employable. Even basic engineering has requirements. What’s missing is to be identified.

Busting the IIT placement myth: Many believe that joining an IIT guarantees success. After 4 years, 23% of India’s topmost students are left holding nothing than an IIT tag. IIT name doesn't get you a job. It is the course that you do that gets you a job. Here is a thread:

Visited mythological town Bithoor on the banks of Ganga, near Kanpur. It has association with God Ram and our first war of independence. Magnificent ghats need improvement, Valmiki Ashram, Sita Rasoi and to cap it all the museum depicting recent history. Place needs improvements.
