This evening, with sorrow, I have decided to resign from my position as an Opposition Shadow Minister and as a member of the Conservative & Unionist Party. Since joining the Conservative Party at the age of 14, I have been a loyal and committed supporter of the principles advocated by Margaret Thatcher that have always underpinned my own political beliefs. However, the time has come to put country before party. The failure of the Conservative Party both when in government and more recently in opposition to actively hold the government to account on the issue of Chagossian self-determination and the defence of British sovereignty, represents a clear red line for me. Since entering Parliament in 2001, I have consistently argued, both from the backbenches and the frontbench, that the right of self-determination of the Chagossian people is sacrosanct, and that they alone should decide the future sovereignty of the Chagos Islands. Regrettably, these concerns have fallen on deaf ears. Both the government and the opposition have been complicit in the surrender of this sovereign British territory to a foreign power. This was made abundantly clear by the failure of Conservative peers to vote down the British Indian Ocean Territory Bill at third reading earlier this month, following direction from the top of the party. Sadly, I now believe that the Conservative Party is irreparably bound to the mistakes of previous governments and unwilling to take meaningful accountability for the poor decisions made over so many issues. Moreover, the views and concerns of constituents such as mine in Romford have been consistently ignored for far too long. Following a conversation earlier this evening with Nigel Farage M.P., I have therefore agreed to join Reform U.K. as its seventh Member of Parliament. It is clear to me that Reform U.K. is now the only political movement that is genuinely willing to fight for the best interests of the United Kingdom. The views and concerns of the majority of the British people must no longer be sidelined. Our country has endured a generation of managed decline. Radical action is now required to reverse the damaging decisions of the past and to forge a new course for Britain - one that firmly places the interests of the British people first.

This email is a valid and legally potent notification of fraud and institutional failure. Its content: •Establishes the Bank’s continued silence as active concealment; •Rightly characterises the wrongdoing as continuing; •Engages principles under common law, banking law, and regulatory oversight; •Strengthens any future claim or complaint by showing that the FCA, HMTreasury, and Parliament were notified and failed to act.

We risk becoming an ‘island of strangers’? No, it has already happened. Go to some parts of England and there are streets and streets where nobody can speak English. It’s not even ‘multiculturalism’ in these areas - there is one dominant culture, and it certainly isn’t British. Look at Rochdale, Rotherham, Bradford, parts of East London, plenty more - look at how they have completely changed in just a few decades. If we continue on this path, do we not think that the same relentless transformation will befall other parts of the country? On current trajectory, it is inevitable. It’s not just the language. It’s the culture, the customs, the values. What once felt like home for millions of Brits is now entirely unfamiliar - many have simply left, despondent to see their communities transform beyond recognition. And yes, nobody wants to say it, but religion does play a huge role in this division. In many of these populations, they view themselves as Muslim long before British and are voting accordingly. Most terrifyingly, they are winning and they will keep winning. At the next election, there will be 40 successful pro-Palestine independents. The one after that? I do not know. More is the answer, lots more. It’s the same with isolated, but growing, communities of Albanians, Romanians, Africans and more. Zero integration. Zero. The experiment has unquestionably failed. No party faces up to the cold, brutal reality. Heads remain firmly in the sand, out of fear more than anything else. Just watch how I'm attacked and insulted for simply stating the truth. It is national self-sabotage, forced on the British population by a political establishment that cares more for GDP figures and cheap labour than any sense of belonging - yet we continue to pour fuel on the fire, importing hundreds of thousands, with no care for the consequences. For the foreseeable future, more people need to leave the UK than settle here. Through mass deportations of illegal migrants, but also simple visa expirations. Immigration control isn’t just about who enters. It’s also about who leaves - a functioning system has both a door in and a door out. Those with an expired visa, or those who have failed to uphold their end of the deal, need to go home. No more mild tinkering, the system has to fundamentally change. Firstly though, MPs must start telling the truth. The bath is full, and it is overflowing. Slowing that flow is futile. It needs to be almost entirely shut off, and we need to start rapidly emptying the tub.

Of course, the finance sector wants to keep milking the 'assets' we call home. Personal guarantees are a particularly nasty way of extracting value that other people have created. Making families homeless. #PGwidow positivemoney.org/archive/bank-o…

The biggest decline in the U.K. that no one is talking about My local city centre used to have boutique shops & independent cafes & restaurants It used to have M&S. John Lewis; & now there are ALL gone Now it is riddled with vape shops, pawn brokers & pound shops One street has EIGHT betting shops & slots/casinos There are dozens of homeless people What an utter disgrace Empty units everywhere. Graffiti everywhere Nothing to do & NOT safe for our children The biggest decline in the U.K. is the high streets Councils are broke, cities are in ruin yet Council tax is going UP Private investors want to develop but planning laws make it impossible How is your city centre doing? And why is no one talking about this?

Having world war level of national debt without fighting a world war is catastrophic. The @DOGE team is tracing and stopping the insane levels of waste and fraud very quickly.
David Sacks@DavidSacks

The U.S. now has World War II levels of indebtedness without fighting a world war. So where did all the money go? The Greatest Generation incurred that debt to defeat the Nazis and Imperial Japan. In our case, nobody even knows where the money went and you’re not allowed to ask.
