Elon has repeated this over and over. "Everything will be free". The pickup is slow and few take him serious because humans are not good at visualizing exponential growth. The truth is maybe not EVERYTHING will be free, like you can't own the entire galaxy for example. Nobody can do that. But any single thing that you can own now, up to and including things as big as jets and boats. They will be free to use if not free to own when we more efficiently harness solar power and master automation of both intelligent and physical labor. The penny has already started doubling. If you know that story then you know how it ends. Amazing abundance.

@mchmr96 5 states are doing mortgage fraud investigations on H-1B visa holders. The first one probably has close to 10,000 ongoing investigations. I am unsure about the 4 others.

I have some really good news. It turns out that it's not only Indian immigrants who are under investigation for mortgage fraud, but also immigrants from the African continent! My source from the wonderful state that has been working on mortgage fraud since March 2026 has confirmed that African immigrants from throughout the continent are actively being investigated for mortgage fraud and that they use the same techniques as other groups. Let's hope that these investigations lead to criminal convictions and deportations. Thousands of homes in one state could become available for purchase by American buyers.

I agree with @BillAckman . We will lose the global race for talent if we don't attract the best and brightest. Especially true of the AI race against China. Talent is a bigger factor in that race than the next three or four factors combined, including chips. We should push for a bipartisan effort. I think it can be done despite the administration's MAGA wing. Who in the administration can help this lady?

You are correct the system needs reform. There needs to be a faster pathway to citizenship for people like this guy who have come LEGALLY. We need to fix the green card system so he can stay keep working paying taxes and contributing to this economy. Then he won’t have to do all this. Eventually he would probably become a US citizen as many before him have done over the centuries.

Indian guy’s H1B contract is ending and he can’t find new work. Instead of going home like these temporary visas were designed for, he’s switching to an F-1 student visa at Trine University, a notorious diploma mill, just to stay in America. This is why these visas need reform.

@vkhosla The quality of all products have gone down while its price has gone up in the last 20 years. Hardware starts giving issues after 3 years and software is buggy from day 1. Hardware breaks down completely after 7-8 years. This was not the case before 2000.

It's sad to see how much we are hurting the USA in future competitiveness and talent! Most people don't realize how much of tech innovation and hence GDP growth comes from foreign talent in the USA. Innovation and GDP growth is sure to decline.
