Allah says: “Allah destroys riba and gives increase to charity.” (2:276) and “Whoever fears Allah, he will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect.” (65:2–3) Halal may look smaller on paper, but it carries peace and barakah. And Allah reminds us: “Perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you… Allah knows and you do not know.” (2:216) Money that pulled you away from Him was never a blessing, even if it was a lot. Real provision is what brings you closer, not what inflates your bank account.

Religious folks, I genuinely want your perspective on this. When I was far from God and living reckless, I made the most money of my life. When I’ve been most aligned, disciplined, and trying to live and earn in a way that feels clean and honest to me, I’ve made far less. How do you interpret that?
