@storylinefever @GoilersGunners @coopsie39 pretty much this. Any 20 year old player that can get called up, score a goal and tread water in the NHL has a chance at a career. Whatever that career is. Lots of guys have had careers while being unable to score 10 goals if they can skate, check and hit.

Here is hoping that Chaulk can convince Clatt to play hockey. The org knows he can (and will) hit and fight but he needs to stay on the ice and develop some 2-way puck skills. If he had been playing 15/night the last two months, he’d be ready for the call over Jones.

Still one of my fondest Oilers memories ever, it's was just such a cool moment for Player, team and fans, even if most would consider it "insignificant" in a way. I remember thinking "guaranteed he's an Oiler next year as well now"

@AzorcanGlobal I'd suggest NHL players can pay for safety, don't have the same cost of living concerns, and work hours that make them worry less about traffic which are the big items noted and climate works against us because they spend the best 3-4 months of weather living somewhere else

@JustinOilers @_TSampson_ @oilersdailyy Skinner has an .891 on both the Oilers and Pittsburgh. Whatever is happening with Jarry is new. He's never been this bad but he had an .893 last year and played a dozen games in the AHL. He shouldn't be this bad and we should have acquired someone better.

Look, Jarry has been absolutely unplayable, but for people to say we would be "locked into a playoff spot" if we kept Skinner is outrageous. Clearly did not take long for people to forget just how bad Skinner was in Edmonton.

@The_Coal_Train @Spence0202 You're forgetting that MacKinnon wasn't the puck carrier. He skated right at Ingram and never had the puck or played the puck. He ran into Nurse. Nurse never changed course and played the puck. Take away the hit on Ingram, he's still not allowed to skate right into Nurse.

@MRDuLock @Spence0202 Mass majority of goalie interference doesn't end with the goalie injured, 1000% would be a loophole that would get exploited, which is why it's not the rule. Nurse hit Mac, its literally right there lol watch Macs feet after the hit lol

@Jason___YYC It's kind of a three-pronged idea. Many, many seniors (like 90%+) don't have enough to retire on so are price-sensitive, they tend to have more flexible schedules and shop/eat in off-peak times and they are more likely to be loyal customers.

Someone said “why are we giving seniors the discounts, they have all the money” And I’ve been thinking about that a lot

They're gonna call that because otherwise every guy without the puck would just skate right at a D in front of the net hoping to bounce off into the G.

@The_Coal_Train @Spence0202 I bounced off the defender I knew was there, I tried to skate through and who didn't hit me hard enough to knock me over but I ran right into the goalie I was aggressively skating towards is the crazy loophole, my dude. Injuring your own goalie is not a loophole. Sorry.
