We are deeply saddened by Eli’s death, but we find some comfort in knowing that his generosity will continue to be an inspiration for all who benefit from the 50+ yrs of support for art museums, theaters, educational institutions, or medical research from @BroadFoundation

We mourn the passing of a friend and mentor, Eli Broad. Eli was an extraordinary resource for the Berggruen Institute, the City of Los Angeles and the world in his support of key human endeavors---health, education, and the arts.
