WE ARE ALL SATOSHI! THE #BITCOIN VOICEPAPER (2021) The Voicepaper is a collaborative video recording of the #Bitcoin whitepaper narrated by Bitcoiners. Each contributor recites a section from Satoshi’s document and pay their respect to what and who started it all. This project is first and foremost a celebration of the Bitcoin community, of its strength and unity, as well as its broad diversity in backgrounds, origins and aspirations. It is a statement that Bitcoin belongs to everyone, and that the meaning of the “Vires in Numeris” motto is contextually as computational as it is human. The 159 Bitcoiners contributing to this video are, in order of appearance: @stacyherbert @maxkeiser @obi @saylor @ToneVays Mr.KnowHow @selfbankt2 @satofishi @nvk @BenHowardAU @dergigi @ProfHodl @knutsvanholm Badders @rebelmoneyart @Coinicarus @nejc_kodric @karozagorus @starkness @mir_btc @rjames_BTC @cryptgm @jayberjay @Castlenine_ @lukechilds @coryswan @vladcostea @bakktofuture Craael @benthecarman @CarringtonMacD Mr Crown @camilacampton @gregzaj1 @yonatvaks @BtcDanny @Stackmore @PrinceySOV @keyvandavani @ODELL Afshin @mtcbtc Estammad II @TonyCrusoe @mytechmix @oflowshow @Excellion @adam3us @Alexandra933 @LinaSeiche

This is great news and would've happened much sooner had Emin GS not been a massive shitcoiner

It’s official! @CornellBitcoin had its first ever meeting yesterday, February 8, 2024 (block height 829,572~). It was “Welcome, Intro & Definitions Day.” At most events, I’ve found people sit far away from each other and rarely in the front row….this was not the case yesterday. There was incredible energy, and everyone naturally came in and congregated in the front rows. There’s something special about how #Bitcoin changes the feeling in a room. My guess is it’s Layer 0 (?), the social/ human layer. Very grateful for the 24 people who were in attendance (which seems fitting for 2024!) and 21 + me in the photo 👀

@vedatgurer Tether isn't Bitcoin and the success of Bitcoin (however you wish to define success) isn't dependent upon Tether either. Why is it formed outside of the US? The world is a big place buddy. Where is the owner? Probably Switzerland

@BtcDanny One pillar is tether.. press it, pump the scams.. what is behind “cash equivalents” of tether 1:1 guarantees? Why is it formed outside US jurisdiction? Where is the owner?

So nearly there, if only he understood the technological components he would likely never shut up about how great Bitcoin is. Yet failure to understand all of the fundamental pillars of Bitcoin results in such a negative opinion.

Was the Fed printing the equivalent of 300yrs of bal sheet expansion over just 4-6 months during Tulip mania, AS THEY ARE NOW? No? Ok… well, the ability to speculate was materially less then, vs. what it is today. Don’t confuse the Fed driving ALL risk assets higher by printing new dollar bills out of thin air with actual “value”/worth.

@jmgramke @PeterMcCormack @boredtodeath23 @GordonJohnson19 People confuse debasement and inflation and why so many with a background in economics laugh at Bitcoiners. Debasement is a cause of inflation other things also impact inflation like supply shocks, technological innovations etc. Bitcoin is the antidote to monetary debasement.

@PeterMcCormack @boredtodeath23 @GordonJohnson19 right and wrong here Peter. Bitcoin is a hedge against Monetary Debasement. Bitcoin is not a hedge against inflation. look at 2022 inflation was ripping and btc was dumping. facts are facts

1/4 Sure. In short, #Bitcoin & ALL crypto has ZERO value b/c: 1. the tech doesn’t solve a real problem (it’s simply used to speculate), 2. it’s not a real currency & can’t act as one (fixed supply), 3. all cryptos are unregistered securities, &

So with all these brc-20 minters, what's their end goal? Are they attempting to mint, then dump on a sucker who wants the token?

@IsabeauVidal @1FeexV6 Not that I'm aware of. Did they ever write back @BtcDanny? Maybe there's a chance it'll also get brought up by the devs now that Wright is unambiguously asserting under oath that this evidence doesn't exist.

More documents coming out regarding the Pineapple case, i.e. the one where Craig Wright is suing Bitcoin Core developers claiming they need to "reassign" two whale addresses to him. Since courts will apparently endlessly entertain this nonsense, I guess we'll keep covering it.

13 years ago, someone exploited a bug to create 184,467,440,737 BTC The blockchain was forked by Satoshi within 5 hours and the transaction (along with all of the other ones in between the fork) were thrown out. They never found the guy that did the hack!

It's funny how none of the conversations about scaling Bitcoin include topics or data around which demographics of people are (or will likely be) excluded from Bitcoin, or what they would need to be able to hold it themselves. How cheaply can someone run a pruned node? How dangerous is it for lower class users not to run a node in practice, compared to risks of custodians? Which txn fee thresholds affect which use cases and user groups? We have to have some idea of what a healthy Bitcoin looks like to be able to claim we know how to fix it.
