@JacobKGilbert I found it quite interesting that the one time, so far, that I checked the commentary against something someone was blaming it for (Uber Zionism in Evangelicals), in that scripture, and the attached footnote, it didn't even come close to what the person was saying.

@CCCorliss True, but the commentary that was added alongside the scriptures did shape the minds and hearts of a lot of so-called pastors. It’s unfortunate, but a lot of people don’t take the time to study stuff out for themselves, but instead take spoonfed doctrine.

Please tell me where it did such and such, let's discuss what biblical text was actually changed, and how commentary is the commenter's opinion, and not an authoritative addition to the text of the scripture.

Here is water, what hinders me? The Jewish Mikvah that baptism is modeled on, and is an extension of, was often a rough stone trough. Not everyone has access to the modern whirlpool hot tub baptistries. I remember a time when we went down to the river in January, broke some ice to baptize someone.

Last year I got made fun of by Pharisees because we have barn baptism at my little country church on resurrection day. I would like to announce there are 20 people being baptized in the name of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit in that same barn today. Full emersion baptism as Christ modeled. Soli Deo Gloria!

If she fraudulently married her brother to acquire her green card, then she entered illegally. Right now, my main concern is that she is paid by and endorsed by a shadow lobby of the organization that the United States is in open hostilities with, and, given her position, she has a security clearance.

Hey @gghamari, while exposing the political figures whose tweets were being read on Regime TV, can the Washington DC lawmakers who are on the NIAC and CAIR dole, end those endorsed by them, be exposed? There is quite a bit of overlap between those whose tweets were featured, and who are paid by NIAC.

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States. Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan." This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States. The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

I get where you were going. But not really what I was thinking. I wasn't referring to any woman actually being assaulted. I was pointing out one reason that is usually aired when abortion is being defended "but what if she was raped?". What would happen in hook up culture if the guy faced a real threat of being charged with nonconsensual insemination if he impregnated his one night stand? Either really makes sure he protects up, or doesn't participate?

Drove out to Mexico, Maine to visit with some great friends, and deliver to them 14 large print paperback ESV bibles for them to pass out through their street ministry. Now taking the scenic route to take a look at where the venue for the Mended Heart Festival is going to be held in Union, Maine. Beautiful day out here.

Friend at church hands me a small packet of cards he had. Almost all were pretty much worth next to nothing, $3 max in great shape under sold listings. And then there was this. If I list it, I will ask $13. Given that it has some value, I did offer it back to my brother in Christ, but he said keep it, and list it if I want to.
