BREAKING ‼️🚨 If you thought the Daily News audio was bad, listen to this one. Nelson Chamisa is heard confirming, while speaking to someone “in the system”, that he is there to block people from going into the streets. He even says that when his own friend, Advocate Thabani Mpofu, proposed that people should go into the streets, he dismissed and rubbished the idea.
What makes this even more shocking is the derogatory manner in which he speaks about a man who stood with him throughout his political career. This is the same Thabani Mpofu who introduced Chamisa to his chambers so that he could become an advocate, represented him for free in the 2018 election case, and reportedly lost clients because of his association with Chamisa.
Yet here is Chamisa, speaking to someone in the system, trashing the very man who stood by him and confirming in his own words that he is there to make sure people do not go into the streets.
Listen to Chamisa in his own words.

Chamisa Must Come Clean as DailyNews Urged to Release Full Audio.
Questions surrounding the alleged Nelson Chamisa @nelsonchamisa interview continue to raise public interest, with calls growing for full transparency from both Chamisa and the DailyNews. If the interview was indeed recorded in full, the matter should not remain clouded by denials and speculation.
For Chamisa, openly addressing the issue would demonstrate accountability and honesty expected from national leaders.
Zimbabweans increasingly expect transparency, especially on matters that affect public trust.
At the same time, the DailyNews must release the full audio recording if it exists. Publishing the evidence would settle the debate, protect the publication’s credibility and allow the public to judge the facts for themselves.
In a time of growing misinformation, transparency from both politicians and the media remains essential in restoring public confidence.

THE OPPOSITION'S BIGGEST PROBLEM IS NELSON CHAMISA
Zimbabwe's opposition does not have a policy problem. It does not have a funding problem. It has a Chamisa problem.
Tendai Biti - sidelined. Jameson Timba - privately attacked and publicly humiliated. Charlton Hwende - disrespected and belittled. Thabani Mpofu - embarrassingly disowned. Thokozani Khupe's gender and ethnicity weaponised against her for political ends. Anyone who builds independent political relevance within opposition ranks gets crushed. Not by is in ZANUPF but by the very man who claims to champion democracy.
That should disturb every Zimbabwean who takes democratic governance seriously.
Chamisa has spent years fusing his identity with the opposition so completely that loyalty to the movement and loyalty to him became indistinguishable. Disagree with Nelson Chamisa and you are suddenly an enemy of democracy. Question his direction and you are a sell-out. This is not political leadership - this is political hostage-taking.
Real democratic movements produce institutions. Chamisa has produced dependence.
The opposition's endless cycle of expulsions, splits and public infighting is not accidental. It is the predictable result of a leadership culture built around one man's political survival rather than any coherent national vision.
Zimbabwe has outgrown this. The country deserves an opposition defined by ideas, accountability and institutional depth - not by one man's unquenchable appetite for power and relevance.
The opposition needs to wake up and catch up.

@JamesonTimba spent months in remand prison. @adv_fulcrum has been by his side all the way. These men don’t deserve to be treated so dismissively like this by a man they so seriously believed in.
No. NC has a serious problem.

Mzembi Bail Ruling Highlights Judicial Independence.
Former Cabinet Minister Walter Walter Mzembi has been granted US$1 000 bail pending judgment in a case in which he is accused of defrauding the Government of US$2 million during his tenure as Tourism and Hospitality Minister.
His appearance before the courts, despite his former high office, underscores a fundamental principle, no one is above the law. The handling of the case reflects the independence of Zimbabwe’s judiciary, with legal processes being followed without fear or favour.
As President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa has consistently stated, corruption has no place in Zimbabwe. Accountability must apply to all, regardless of position or past office.
This is what a functioning justice system looks like, measured, lawful, and impartial.
