@Techlife32 @ATT Coverage/density matters more to me I would not consider them until all the areas I commute to have good signal and speeds including my house. Also with the talks of AT&T Mexico going away and being sold and the potential of no more unlimited roaming that advantage disappears.

$T Would you only join the @ATT network if you received a significantly better price or a lower price compared to the competition?

@yellmapper @Techlife32 Like I've said before should have never left the stadiums, airports and large venues where a ton of usage happens and done a thorough market research and install where only DSL or no Internet service can be found because if you overlap it will be hard to operate the street.

@CTH858 @Techlife32 Clutch find! There's a few nodes in Houston where I know for sure it's just sitting there doing nothing because of bad residential placement and those will benefit from removal. So I guess business mmwave is here to stay and residential and for phones is not lol

NEW STORY ‼️ $VZ I’m hearing through the grapevine that Verizon plans to convert even more of its mmWave small cells to c-band across a significant portion of its network. I’d assume under Dan Schulman’s leadership, the mmWave spectrum just hasn’t yielded the results on the investment.

@yellmapper @Techlife32 Here in socal a ton of permits have been filed to remove the mmwave panels and swap them out for cband. They were all placed in residential streets with solid cable and fiber options which resulted in almost zero FWA customers which c band could handle this fine.

@Techlife32 I think I misread your post but maybe you can clarify. Some folks are getting confused thinking that mmwave is being removed. I haven't seen these get "converted". Just upgraded.

@Terrell352 Seems like a well rounded device for testing this year I get better uploads with ease on T-Mobile and lower loaded pings specially on the uploads.

Just did a side by side test and man now I got to see for my self how good it is at mmWave at a distance. S25U refused mmWave in the cell lot at Tampa iPhone 17PM picks it up with ease Who would have thought putting the antenna at the top would be such a great move? Kudos 🍎

Can’t find any NRDC for Verizon in Tampa airport so if you leave it on standalone your in for a much slower experience but most won’t notice. SA vs NSA. Might want to toggle SA off for this one

Testing T-Mobile in a different city today, speed test with N41 at 190MHz N25 at 20MHz and N71 at 20MHz. Pretty good loaded pings at a busy shopping center. #tmobile #5g #speedtest

So the removal of manual dark mode on X for iOS was fully intentional and not a bug? Guess we can add it to the list of stupid things they’ve done to make this app worse.

$TMUS t-satellite is now far more stable as a connection: I’m really shocked at how good it’s been so far on the trip.

@Techlife32 @Kan27111 It's an AST investor don't even waste your time they go pollute AT&T posts looking like bots. All this talk and still no network has been launched they might as well be 3 years late like the terrestrial 5G+ network is.

@Kan27111 I tested prior and it kept cutting in and out now the connection remained. A connection from a satellite isn’t going to provide 5 bars

@yellmapper Makes sense if the network wasn't cutting it back then there was no point in sticking around but, unfortunate for the present day savings.

@CTH858 I agree! I let go of an old postpaid account that at this point I probably could have stacked a bunch of bogo lines without taxes. But they're so good in Houston I had to make it a primary. Still running all three of course.

T-Mobile is going to have to sit down and actually put a good plan that will actually convince people to switch. Better value failed horrendously at this and the new plan is tracking the exact same way. If they can't do that they will have to resort back to free lines.

@yellmapper As a new customer the plans are fine but the existing customer base is not picking any of the new plans like they did for go5g plus and next. Taxes and fees not included and everyone losing their free lines and insiders is causing people to just stick on their older plan or leave

@CTH858 I signed up for better value at Costco this last weekend. Sucks that the plan isn't insider or free line eligible but man that plan offers a lot. I'm surprised they added t satellite
