Shame on you @DukeEnergy for punishing people who are trying to become energy independent by adding a new additional minimum fee along with the standard "rate increase" to make sure everyone pays at least $30 per month.

The US doesn’t have a complete catalog of hazards/disasters cost to the nation much less an inventory of climate related impacts - This is needed if we are to plan. We cannot know the impacts if we don’t measure. sheldus.org vulnerabilitymap.org @sciencefriday
