@PaulineHansonOz There should have never been any 'recounting'. The winner was declared. 'Finding' ballots AFTER the count is completed = fraud, cheating.

I supply @SunRiceFoods & they have markets all around the world & supply about half of the domestic market. The Middle East is a good market for our rice & more material access to the high value European market would have been fantastic. Given our high cost of production we need access to high value markets. When I first started farming all the rice from where I am went to Papua New Guinea. We don't sell any Australian rice into that market anymore because they can't afford it. We have created such a high cost economy that less & less people around the world can afford what we produce.

@MarkGottlieb @craigvn I found it very reassuring to be honest, obviously not going to delve into it too much but clearly we are leveraging our exports of coal and LNG to make sure we have fuel. He said in as many words around strong trade partnerships.

@craigvn I didn’t find it reassuring at all. Having an address to the nation in order to say nothing makes me think you don’t have a plan.

That Anthony Albanese address to the nation felt extremely unnecessary. I was expecting something far more serious than bland platitudes of ‘Aussie-ness’ and ‘hey, we’ve cut the excise and maybe try taking the train’. What a waste of everyone’s time. #Auspol

Well, as a national address that was unnecessary, uninspiring and the political 'we've cut excise and road user charge' felt like a campaign speech. Disappointing.

@sfw1956 @PeteWargent Most EBAs/Awards have wage levels/increments depending on experience, doesn't need to be a double whammy with age also.

@PeteWargent "Half a million young workers to get up to 42pc pay increase and so be passed over for jobs requiring experience. Employers will take the workers with a track record instead of giving a newbie a go" There, fixed it for you.

@the_pub_808 Yeah but many businesses hire 18 year olds for low skilled labour due to being cheaper. Now there is no reason to.

What is this government trying to do to us? Albo has called for an above-inflation minimum wage increase for almost 3 million workers!! This is not sustainable. Absolutely mind blowing!! #auspol #ausbiz

@GreenTyler27 These are preference flows counted from booths you performed well in? Is that correct?

I need to make up 152 votes with about 800 left to count. Gee that’s close.

@jchoop @Haydenfreedom What is limited, from what I understand 98% of exports from Australia will have zero tariff going into the EU. That seems fairly unlimited to me.

@Haydenfreedom The same as every other deal this govt has made with foreign countries. We completely open up our markets to them, with limited opening of their markets to us

@Tbone_Flusher @DrCameronMurray Most minor parties have the major preferenced last apart from the greens, its just they usually have the most votes so everyone else gets eliminated and eventually flows through. Not sure what's hard to grasp.

@DrCameronMurray that can happen. But it still proves the point. Pref. voting mainly helps whoever can pull enough preferences together to make the final count, and in the lower house that’s usually one of the major parties, with the odd exception where a minor or independent is strong enough

@GreenTyler27 Perfect for a virtual power plant with a company like amber. More battery capacity is what we need. Will drive prices down.

Here’s the problem with poorly designed battery rebates in SA. Perfect example below. This house is getting 5kW of solar panels. Then 30–40kWh of batteries. Now that battery bank will rarely if ever fill on solar alone (you’d need 8 straight PSH) and especially not in winter. Taxpayer rebate gets claimed. Installer gets paid. Battery supplier gets paid. But grid stability? Marginal pricing? Dispatchability? Completely unchanged. Taxpayers deserve much better.
