Three men facing multiple charges after failed carjacking attempt on Jan 9, 2025. Two charged following search warrants on Feb 5, 2025. The third suspect was intercepted in Houston, Texas on Feb 6, 2025 by the Department of Homeland Security.

While reform needs to strike a balance between public safety and the rights of the accused, immediate action is required to ensure repeat and violent offenders are not given bail and the opportunity to continue to harm their communities while awaiting trial.

An all too common story… this judicial revolving door endangers communities, demoralizes law enforcement and teaches offenders that breaking the law has little to no consequences. Thank you to all police leaders that are sounding the alarm, now we need action.
