Thinking about it though, Tino was definitely more than mediocre. That’s the problem with growing up a #Yankees fan in the late 90s-early oughts; my favorite players were all pretty good.

The Supreme Court should not be “balanced” or seek to give wins to “both sides.”
Its job is to correctly interpret the law. If one side keeps advancing interpretations of the law that are incorrect, they should lose more often.

TX had closed its filing period, so a federal court couldn't order a change in the map. *Texas* could have done so (again) if it had wanted to, because Purcell binds federal courts, not state legislatures. It probably couldn't *order* AL to redraw, but that's different facts.1/
