@JamesRenner I have been wondering if you are going after this angle from behind the scenes or not.
22 years is a long time to keep a secret- longer than she was alive before.

Here’s the latest on the disappearance of Maura Murray, on the 22nd anniversary of her disappearance. Last year, I uncovered the news that New Hampshire state police matched a fingerprint found in Maura’s car to a troubled man who attended West Point: youtu.be/IOZV-_O4JHE?si…

@NJBeisner I don’t think it would have mattered. I think Charlie could have been shot in an OR and he would have died. Some things are not sustainable for life.

“The [hospital] we went to was the closest one. ‘But it was a level 3.’ Yeah, we knew that. The next closest one was another 7 minutes away. We’re going to the closest one. And we beelined it to there…People say, ‘oh you should’ve had an ambulance there.’ I can’t make the city put an ambulance there. Now there is a Utah law that says that for mass gatherings a health officer needs to be assigned. I don’t assign them. The PD does…The did have standby UTV medical there.”
A couple things: At one point it was going around that they took Charlie to a hospital that was further away and/or that they took him to a hospital unequipped to treat him. This account directly contradicts both. They took him to the nearest hospital and knew it was only a level three.
However, secondly: I again am confused about not insisting an ambulance be there on standby that day? He specifies it’s up to the assigned health officer, but would it be a complete overstep for him to insist? I get it’s not his job, and he’s specified a few times in this interview that he obviously can’t break any laws, but can he insist? Can he strongly encourage? Can he advise Charlie against going if no ambulance on standby (or drones flying overhead)? I just find some of his answers not very compelling.

@luinalaska When my mom was on hospice, the nurse was very offended when I asked if we could give my mom seizure medicine in an injection or a liquid. She couldn’t swallow the horse pill and I didn’t want her to die having a massive seizure.

If I have done anything valuable with my life I hope it is convincing people not to torture their dying relatives because of a lack of knowledge and poor communication from medical teams.

@luinalaska I was an oncology hospice nurse awhile back, everything you said is true. Its also a form of torture starting IVs on the dying.

@luinalaska My mom just died of breast cancer Friday evening. It was terrible. I am a little afraid of dying. My kids are little.
