Use strong passwords + a password manager. 7. Before touching any DeFi protocol, check its reputation and security history. That “50% APY” often smells like a graveyard. 8. Follow hack news. Being informed won’t save you from everything, but at least you won’t be shocked when shit hits the fan. Diversify or die. Wow, nice to hear from you! My XRP was stolen in the $100 million Atomic Wallet hack in 2023. I traced the theft through various wallets until it ended up on Binance (not Binance US). Binance wallet address with : xrpscan.com/account/rJTEBW… But since I'm an American citizen, Binance will not help me. Their online help form does not accept US citizen inquiries. So I'm stuck. I've contacted numerous govt. agencies, including FBI Cybercrime, congressmen, etc., and no one will help. Most don't even return my inquiries. Since I know my crypto ended up on Binance, and I have evidence (below), it seems my 45k XRP can, and should, be returned to me at my XRP wallet address: rMqbNHhYmDASay8ygynd24qe8ky7EP5Vbs or another wallet address I set up.
