...Sen. Chuck Schumer, who has blocked their funding for over 70 days, immediately posted, "I’m grateful for the quick response of law enforcement and am praying everyone remains safe." The only thing more impressive than their stout courage is Schumer's striking lack of shame.

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

Peer-review is not a part of real science. Period. The peer-review system, as it exists in its current form, has only existed since the 1970s (maybe 1960s in some cases). It is a relatively modern academic gatekeeping process, not an ancient pillar of science. Issac Newton, Galileo, Charles Darwin, and even Einstein's work (specifically, his four Annus Mirabilis papers in 1905) were all written or published without “peer-review.” Science advances with evidence, replication, and falsifiability. “Peer-reviewers” typically do none of the above things when reading over a paper submitted to an academic journal. Reviewers are just anonymous “experts” that stamp approval for any papers they happen to agree with and reject ones that challenge their own biases. But as I have previously said, any of my online critics that demand I publish a paper in a journal can pay me to do it themselves. I am not an academic. I am not a federal employee. I work in the private sector. It is not reasonable to expect me to drop thousands of dollars on a paper to cover paywalled data access fees and a journal's submission and/or publication fee(s). Either put your own money where your mouth is, or shut up about it and drop the stamp-collecting credentialism. I don't need a M.S. or Ph.D. to analyze data or assess claims made by scientists and find errors in them. For hundreds of years, valid science happened outside of peer-reviewed journals because they simply didn't exist, at least in modern form. I also do not believe in using taxpayer dollars to conduct scientific research via NSF grants, etc. Just because something has been “peer-reviewed” does not mean it is accurate. And just because something hasn't been subject to academic circle jerks doesn't mean it isn't valid. Your peers agreeing with your ideas does not make your theory valid. “Peer-review” approval not the arbiter of truth. It's gatekeeping because people are biased, scientists included. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

This is a travesty. John represented the President in litigation challenging an election. That’s all. He lied about nothing. Reasonable minds can disagree about the 2020 election. He did what lawyers are supposed to do — represent disfavored individuals. And make no mistake, the elites, especially in bar apparatuses, disfavor and hate President Trump and anyone associated with him with a burning passion. No one representing Vice President Gore was disbarred for losing Bush v. Gore where the whole partial county-specific recount strategy Democrat lawyers devised there was ruled an unconstitutional violation of equal protection. Two-tiered system of justice and of bar discipline. Pray for John and his family and that John will speedily take his case to the U.S. Supreme Court and that they will grant cert and reverse this absolute nonsense.
Kyle Cheney@kyledcheney

JUST IN: John Eastman, the conservative attorney who helped devise President Trump's last ditch strategy to overturn the 2020 presidential election, has officially been disbarred, per the California Supreme Court.:

My critics never challenge the data or evidence I present. They attack my credentials (which are in almost all cases better than theirs) and smear me as some sort of O&G lobbyist, which is even more laughable considering that I have never advocated for, much less advised lawmakers to promote O&G production. The only energy industries I have vocally supported is nuclear, hydroelectric, and geothermal power. I am indifferent to fossil fuels long-term. I have no stakes in this game. Nobody pays me to promote a specific narrative. At CFACT, I have free rein to give my unbiased scientific assessment of key issues. Craig and Marc, my bosses, both disagree with me on the extent to which mankind affects climate. They think it’s almost zero, I think there is some signals there. I’m a lukewarmer, not a skeptic. We allow viewpoint diversity.

Part One: The History of the Iran War Thread. 1) In this series, we’re exposing the truth, the reality of the evil that prevails in the Middle East, from someone who lived it for decades as a US Air Force pilot and has seen it up close and personally. I’ve served in Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Oman, and Pakistan. I will provide you the absolutes (and some handy talking points) about today’s conflict, exploring the foundations of the State of Israel, the true nature of the region referred to as “Palestine,” the reality of Hamas and Hezbollah, and the ultimate nexus that is Iran. We’ll explore the complicity of the American Left, their anti-Semitism, their underwriting of terror globally, and their glee in opposing everything American. Today, we’re looking at the history of Israel and its right to exist. Never, in the history of the region, has there been a nation of “Palestine.” The region referred to as Israel has been many things: the Kingdom of Israel, the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah, the Babylonian Empire, the Persian Empire, Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and the British Mandate among them. But it’s never been a nation of Palestine. Let me repeat that: There’s never been a Palestinian state. And there weren’t “Palestinians” until the 1960s, as we’ll explore later. There has been, and is, a nation of Israel. Here’s the factual chronology of the history of Israel: Prior to the two world wars of the last century, the region now known as Israel was mostly uninhabited, uncultivated, and swampy. In other words, the Arab landholders of the region didn’t want it. It was cheap real estate that only the Jews saw value in. So, between WWI and WWII, Jews began purchasing land — legally — from absentee landlords living in Cairo, Beirut, Damascus, Paris, and elsewhere. Jews, hoping to avoid confrontation with their Arab neighbors, purchased land largely unpopulated and inexpensive. The State of Israel was created peacefully, orderly, and legally through the United Nations. In fact, the area was not created from “Palestinian lands,” since there were none, but those of the Ottoman Empire, who had ruled the area for 400 years. The Turks lost ownership of the region as a result of aligning themselves with Germany during WWI and the post-war realignment that took place as a result. It was also after WWI that the present states of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq were created by the countries of England and France as they diced up the area as spoils of victory in war and created state boundaries for the first time in the region. The new Arab states didn’t want fellow Arabs and the inhabitants who would later be called “Palestinians” to migrate to their territories. As we speak today, they still refuse Palestinian immigration. In 1947, the UN partitioned a portion of the remaining lands into a two-state solution: a state of Israel for the Jews and a state for the then-homeless Arabs abandoned by their Arab neighbors. The Arab Higher Committee called for Arab Muslims to leave the area so they could launch an attack. The leaders of the newly formed Arab states rejected the UN’s mandate, didn’t buy the establishment of a Jewish state, and immediately launched a war intended to extinguish Israel in 1948…and they lost. Israel has, essentially, been at war ever since. If you’ve ever visited, Israel is on war footing 24/7, 365. And remains so today, as is evident with the Hamas attacks on innocent civilians on October 7th. In 1967, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan again attacked Israel in what is known as the Six-Day War, and Israel again prevailed. In the war’s aftermath, Israel occupied the captured territories of Sinai, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip, although they chose not to officially annex them in hopes of ameliorating the local Arab population. Continued.

WATCH: I asked Trump whether any civilian targets are off limits in Iran. He responded with his strongest threats yet. Trump told me "very little is off limit" and said he has a military plan where "every bridge in Iran will be decimated by 12 o'clock tomorrow night, where every power plant in Iran will be out of business, burning, exploding, and never to be used again" if his deadline is not met. @politico

You mean like when Iran randomly sends rockets to neighboring countries or threatens civilian shipping? This is irrational behavior.
Ted Lieu@tedlieu

Dear @thejointstaff: The UCMJ and federal law prohibit war crimes. Striking civilian infrastructure that causes disproportionate civilian harm constitutes war crimes. You will disobey those illegal orders. If you commit war crimes, the next Administration will prosecute you.

Honestly, I'm not going to engage in this bullshit with you. It's useless. Y'all can't be reasoned with whatsoever. At the end of the day, your inability and/or refusal to understand that Black people are INDIVIDUALS, and have the capability to have different beliefs than the ones we've been PROPAGANDIZED into holding since the Civil Rights Era, is frankly NOT MY PROBLEM. Frankly, I find Black men like YOU to be disgusting in your weakness. I do. To be pro-Democrat and Black in 2026 America is the sign of a moral and emotional coward. To cling to the political party who fought FOR slavery in the Civil War is bad enough, but the Democrats have made LITERALLY EVERY OTHER MINORITY A PRIORITY ABOVE BLACK PEOPLE. AND Y'ALL STILL VOTE FOR THEM. This is why Malcolm X called y'all chumps. Because you ARE chumps. Democrats in 2026 warehouse illegal aliens in BLACK NEIGHBORHOODS. Y'all vote for them anyways. Democrats facilitated the purging of Black men from the trucking industry, and replacing them with ILLEGALS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES, WHO CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH. Y'all vote for them ANYWAYS. Democrats have placed Black women and GAY BLACK MEN as their most effective mules and evangelists for their DEI agenda, an industrial complex that creates highly motivated, highly refined RACIST WHITE PEOPLE....AND PLACES THEM AT THE TOP OF THE ORGS WITHIN SAID INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. AND Y'ALL VOTE FOR THEM ANYWAYS. But in typical fashion, you expect all Black people to ignore EVERYTHING the Democrat Party Machine does to us, and focus on calling Trump a racist, as if THAT'S the only thing that should matter to us. Words cannot describe the level of contempt I have for bitch-made, worthless racial narcissists like you. Fucking worthless, wannabe-ass slave catchers. John Ridley was absolutely right to call you all "modern American n*gg3rs in 2006, but to me, y'all are WORSE than that: You are Modern American WHORES. Self-esteemless prostitutes who will stay with Mamma Democrat no matter how much she beats your motherfucking asses to a pulp. Y'all are beneath me. Fuck ALL y'all.

Trump just walked into the White House briefing room and casually described a rescue operation where the US military flew over Iran for fourteen hours, in daylight AND at night, pulled two downed airmen out of mountain terrain surrounded by IRGC forces, rebuilt three helicopters from boxes in under ten minutes on a farm that was definitely not a runway, and then when the transport planes got stuck in wet sand, the BACKUP PLANES showed up on fifteen-minute intervals because someone who definitely needs a raise had already thought of that. And nobody died. On the American side. Z E R O Meanwhile, Iran's military status as of today: no navy, no air force, no radar, no anti-aircraft, no communications, and most likely no Ayatollah. Trump said the biggest problem with negotiations is that Iran literally cannot talk to its own people. They're passing notes with human couriers like it's the year 25 BC. (Have they tried pagers?) In 37 days the US flew 10,000+ combat sorties and hit 13,000+ targets. Iran managed to shoot down ONE plane the entire time, with a lucky shoulder-fired missile. NATO was asked to help. NATO said no. The UK being the UK said "we'd rather wait till you win." Japan, Australia, South Korea all declined. But Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and UAE stepped up immediately, I guess because they knew long ago about the crazy neighbor on the other side of the street. So now we know exactly what NATO is worth in an actual fight. A very expensive group chat. The Michael Bay part: when Iran tried to back out of a deal mid-negotiation, Trump told them to look out their window. Forty-five minutes later the biggest bridge in Iran was rubble. The media keeps asking "what's the plan?" My brothers in Christ, the plan is unfolding in front of your face every single day. Iran is decapitated and passing handwritten notes. The plan is working. They have until 8pm tomorrow to avoid being thoroughly glassed. Let's see what happens.
