An old video from 2012, of Prime Minister Modi has resurfaced, where he said, "India is number 2 one in beef exports. My heart cries out loud." But now he has no problem with beef export firm Allana Group, who reportedly donated 730 crore to the BJP in 2024-25.

@MumbaiMangroves BMC has cheated and mislead both the Highcourt + Supreme court and the tax payers of Mumbaikars by not following the proper compensatory afforestation & above all have cut the mangroves as well to do plantation which is just an eye wash as there are many dead mangroves.

#AfforestationGhotala: The BMC is cutting 45,000+ mangroves for the ₹22,000 crore #MumbaiCoastalRoad. To get court approval, they promised to replant 1.37 lakh mangroves as "compensatory afforestation." Satellite images and on-ground reports reveal this may be a sham. 🧵

Vandana Shiva’s View on Geoengineering as a Crime Against Mother Earth Vandana Shiva calls geoengineering a "crime" and aligns with the growing international movement for the "Rights of Nature." She argues that because the Earth is a living entity, any action that deliberately disrupts its fundamental life-support systems is a violation of its integrity. In her view, the "Global Citizens’ Report" serves as a manifesto against the corporate control of technology, health, and agriculture, calling for a return to "Earth Democracy" where decisions are made based on ecological sustainability and social justice rather than profit. Geoengineering, in her view, is the ultimate expression of this hubris. She believes that people who support geoengineering, like those who get money from rich philanthropists such as Bill Gates, view the planet as a machine that can be tweaked or "cheated" through technology. Geoengineering is an act of "ignorance" regarding the interconnected web of life. Instead of "cheating nature," Shiva calls for a "paradigm shift" toward humility and cooperation with the Earth’s natural cycles, asserting that the only path to true security is through the protection of the commons and the empowerment of local communities. Vandana Shiva frequently cites Albert Einstein’s maxim that one cannot solve a problem with the same mindset that created it. By attempting to manage the sun’s rays or manipulate the atmosphere with sulfate aerosols (artificial volcanoes), geoengineers are treating the sun as the problem rather than the anthropogenic pollution that traps heat. She emphasizes that "sunshine is not a curse"; it is the primary driver of photosynthesis and the foundation of the food web. Blocking sunlight through solar geoengineering would disrupt the biological processes of plants, potentially leading to catastrophic crop failures and the collapse of ecosystems that billions of people depend on for survival. Geoengineering must be prohibited globally, and scientists and activists concerned about climate change should be paying close attention to plans to deliberately change the climate through geoengineering. The billionaire elites driving solar geoengineering research see it as a climate solution, but I see it as stealing the sunshine, the basis of life on Earth. I see it as stealing our food, which is produced by plants through photosynthesis and the gift of the Sun. I see it as the theft of our breath, the oxygen we breathe, which is produced by photosynthesis, using sunlight. I see geoengineering as a crime against Mother Earth and all her beings. #VandanaShiva #Geoengineering #RightsOfNature #EarthDemocracy #ClimateJustice #Sustainability #EcologicalIntegrity #ProtectTheCommons #NatureIsLife #StopGeoengineering #EnvironmentalActivism #Philanthrocapitalism #SocialJustice #ParadigmShift #HumilityInNature #Biodiversity #ClimateCrisis #EcoWarriors #LocalEmpowerment #GlobalCitizensReport #climatechange #geoengineering #weathermodification #cloudseeding #billgates @awakenindiamvmt @drvandanashiva

Compensation for All Vaccine Side Effects: Supreme Court Directs Relief for Affected Citizens — Additional Claims Permitted The Supreme Court has clarified that compensation is payable to all citizens who have suffered any side effects following COVID vaccination, even in the absence of conclusive proof of direct causation. The Court further recognised that affected individuals are entitled to pursue additional claims for damages under the law. A Nagpur Court has already ordered criminal prosecution against Adar Poonawalla, the Serum Institute, and its directors and employees. Additionally, notices have been issued in three high-value civil compensation claims totalling ₹10,000 crore, ₹1 lakh crore, and ₹12 lakh crore. ₹1000 CRORE CLAIM – COURTS HAVE TAKEN COGNIZANCE. A major and unprecedented development has taken place where Dr Snehal Lunawat has filed a compensation claim of ₹1000 crores against Adar Poonawalla, Bill Gates, Serum Institute of India, and the Union of India, and the petition has already been admitted by the Division Bench of the Hon’ble High Court. This is not a mere allegation in public discourse.   It is a matter of judicial record now under active consideration. ₹100 CRORE CLAIM IN VACCINE MURDER CASE – In another serious case, relating to the vaccine-related death (vaccine murder as alleged) of Hitesh Kadwe, a compensation claim of ₹100 crores has been filed by Smt. Kiran Yadav. This case directly raises the issue of: • Liability for death post vaccination • Accountability of authorities and involved entities • Possible criminal culpability. A WAVE OF LITIGATION IS BUILDING ACROSS INDIA. Victims are not required to establish strict or direct causation between the vaccine and the adverse effect, thereby removing a major evidentiary burden that would otherwise defeat legitimate claims. Any abnormal condition arising post-vaccination—such as severe and unexplained headache, neurological complications, joint pain, diabetes, paralysis, blood clotting disorders, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, vision impairment, hearing impairment, or any other unusual or sudden medical condition—acquires legal relevance within the framework of Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) and cannot be dismissed merely on the ground that definitive or conclusive proof of causation is not available. The burden, in such cases, shifts onto the State to ensure compensation, reflecting a no-fault liability regime grounded in constitutional principles of fairness and protection of life under Article 21. On similar lines, the High Court, in Devilal v. State of M.P., 2017 SCC OnLine MP 2322, granted compensation of ₹25 lakh to a victim who developed paralysis following vaccination (polio vaccine). Notably, the Court extended relief even though the victim was unable to conclusively establish a direct causal link between the vaccine and the adverse condition, thereby reinforcing the principle that the absence of strict proof cannot be a ground to deny compensation in such cases. Affected citizens may also initiate independent legal proceedings—both civil and criminal—against vaccine manufacturers, including Serum Institute and its directors such as Adar Poonawalla and Cyrus Poonawalla, among others, on allegations of suppression of serious side effects, including fatalities, as well as misrepresentation by portraying the vaccines as completely safe. Importantly, there is no statutory upper limit on compensation, and affected individuals are entitled to seek full and proportionate damages corresponding to the harm suffered. In America (USA), compensation of Hundreds of crores was granted. In India, also, petitions with claims of Hundreds of crores are admitted. In addition, they may also pursue criminal prosecution and seek appropriate punishment against those found responsible. Call to Citizens: Preserve Evidence Without Delay Public organisations, including: • Rashtriya Sanvidhan Raksha Samiti • Indian Bar Association • Awaken India Movement have urged citizens to immediately collect, record, and preserve all relevant medical records, prescriptions, diagnostic reports, hospital documents, and expert opinions in cases where any abnormal health condition is observed post-vaccination. Unlimited Legal Remedies: Beyond Government Compensation Importantly, citizens are not confined to government compensation schemes. The law permits full-scale legal action against: • Vaccine manufacturers • Policy-makers • Public officials • Any entity involved in approval, promotion, or enforcement Grounds for Legal Action May Include: Alleged suppression of side effects • Misrepresentation of safety • Failure to disclose material risks • Coercive or mandatory vaccination practices • Continuation of policies despite emerging concerns Legal Consequences and Personal Liability Legal doctrine makes it clear that public office does not provide absolute immunity. Where acts involve negligence, suppression, or abuse of authority: • Officers may be directed to pay compensation personally • Criminal prosecution may be initiated in appropriate cases • Immunity may not apply where actions are arbitrary or mala fide The principle of public accountability ensures that liability does not stop at the State level. Where harm arises from acts or omissions, affected individuals may proceed not only against institutions but also against responsible decision-makers. In essence: authority carries responsibility—and misuse may attract personal liability. Continue Reading.. For the second time in 10 days, residents and environmental groups in Mumbai have come together to raise concerns over the impact on nearly 45,000 mangroves due to the proposed northern extension of the Mumbai Coastal Road (North) between Versova and Bhayander. Of the total 45,000, around 9,000 mangroves are proposed to be cut. This time the protest is being held at Versova in Andheri West.

Stopped the work today by our local office bearers. This indiscriminate hacking of mangroves cannot be allowed! Our city has hit 40 deg in March and the Government wants to convert our state into a desert.
Richa Pinto@richapintoi

Works for cutting & trimming of mangroves that will be impacted owing to the Mumbai Coastal Road (North) project have begun today at Charkop. While around 45,000 mangroves are getting impacted because of the project off these around 9,000 mangroves will be permanently cut.

I have written to Bhushan Gagrani ji, the municipal commissioner of Mumbai about the city being in the terrible grip of pollution and the sadist hobby of the regime to keep felling trees. The letter requests him to: 1) Immediately stop private construction for a week till the Air Quality improves. 2) Stop the hacking of 45,000 mangroves and find alternatives to the project- like taking it underground or increase the length of the spans of the flyover 3) Save the Back Garden of Colaba from the concretisation proposal, apparently being pushed by the relatives of the Speaker of the Assembly. Let the garden be natural 4) Save the Racecourse from the proposal of underground carparks and contractor driven works.

These 2 judges (Shree Chandrashekhar & Gautam Ankhad) with zero knowledge on the envt, approved the mass destruction of 45,000 out of the 60,000 mangroves for the coastal road project. They will be responsible for Mumbai's fate of rising sea levels, airpollution, & jeopardizing the citizens. History will remember them for Mumbai's mass destruction #mumbai #savemumbai #savemangroves

Massive blow to Mumbai's environment: Bombay High Court approves felling of 45,675 out of the 60,000 mangrove trees for the Versova-Dahisar coastal road. Approved by Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad. Judges have lost their ethics & are sold out in favour of destroying Mumbai. Mangroves capture massive amounts of Carbon dioxide from the atmosphere at a rate 4-10x times greater than a tropical forest & mostly store it in their soil & dead root systems. When these habitats are destroyed, carbon stored in the habitats are released, contributing to global warming. Also, a 500 meter mangrove strip reduces wave heights by 50 to 99%, that's very important to mitigate the rising sea levels. Absolutely no consideration about the accelerating sea level rise of 4.5mm every year in Mumbai, the low sapling survival rate of 52% , the massive CO2 emissions released while permanently destroying the 45k mangroves thus exacerbating global warming, building expensive roads that cater to only a few rich car owners, promoting more private car owners & the vehicular pollution it creates, reducing public transport by making people wait for 20 min - 1 hour for a bus. Killing Oxygen Increasing CO2 emissions Increasing air pollution This project needs to STOP URGENTLY @mybmcWardRS @AUThackeray @ShivSenaUBT_ @RajThackeray @VarshaEGaikwad @MNageswarRaoIPS @suchetadalal @RoshanKrRaii @kunalpurohit @venkat_fin9 @Anilcherukara @zoru75 @pervinsanghvi @VishalBhargava5 @MeeSagarDevre @richapintoi @htTweets @MehulThakkar_ @dhairyagajara @fpjindia @dhruv_rathee @rautsanjay61 @MangroveForest @MahaForest @GreenStalin @Iam_Zidaan @FFFIndia

Mangrove swamps are excellent breeding nurseries for fishes. The destruction of 45,000 mangroves for the Versova-Dahisar coastal road will result in decline in fishes where Mumbai's fish supply will be badly affected and severely impact the livelihoods of the city’s original inhabitants—the Koli fishing community! #mumbai #savemangroves #savemumbai
