I still haven't solved the CO2 bedroom challenge You open the window and you wake up from a 6am garbage truck or barking dogs and sunlight You close it, you suffocate in 1200 ppl at 5am I guess you really need some mini tube in your wall with a vent that opens and closed based on internal CO2 but how do I build that?

@BuildingChi @Pres_Chicago No, hotel plan fell apart and land in default. Expect the PD to be unwound. Hotel was an ego thing not based on economics.

Emailed the CTA about this and they cleaned it within 36 hours. You don’t have to pass by dirty stations everyday. Reach out with a reasonable request and they’ll usually do something about it.
Yes they’re slow and bureaucratic but in general they want you to enjoy the CTA

Lin He, a well known Newport Beach developer started with condos in 2009 in Santa Ana.
My hard money lender has 22 condos in the IE

I absolutely love that some Chicago politicians are finally pointing out the root cause of Chicago's housing challenges...not enabling builders to add more housing where the demand for it is.
Chicago has neighborhoods where housing is completely affordable just not desirable.
This also has downstream impacts on business, where the new housing is now providing new customers and helping local businesses thrive.
Chicago needs to simply make it easier and more affordable to build...the private market will do the rest.
